The episode starts with Jahan saying to Dolly that she didn’t say to him anything about Ilahi. She asks him to wait a little more. She asks him to practice with Ilahi. Jahan thinks that she is hiding something from him. He thinks that he has to finish some important work. Baljeet asks her why she is making fun of him? Dolly says that he has to realize his love for her. Meanwhile, Jahan returns the Sherwani to the owner. He says to him that he sells clothes, not buying them. Jahan tells him that he stole it in an emergency situation. He calls the security to arrest him. He threatened to call the police. Jahan asks him to call the police. What will he do when someone forces a girl to marry in front of him? He stole it to save her life. He forgives Jahan and says that he can see love in his eyes. Jahan denies it. Meanwhile, Ilahi is practicing a song. Jordan hears his grandparents are hearing old songs. He recalls Ilahi while hearing it. Husna asks the kids not to disturb Ilahi’s practice. Jahan hears her song. She gets distracted by hearing his mobile ringtone.

Jahan says to her that he went out for an important job. She asks him about the practice. She says to him that she will win the competition. He asks her, Is she confident? Jahan sings while Ilahi plays harmonium. Jordan checks his picture with Ilahi. He recalls the way Jahan and Ilahi spent time together. He sticks Ilahi’s picture on the wall. Later, Ilahi starts coughing while practicing. Biji recalls the way Diljhot asked Biji what she got after she snatched her voice from her. Biji tells her peace. Ilahi says to Jahan that she is feeling itchy since she ate the food. He expresses his views about love. He says that respect will increase for the person when they fall in love. Ilahi recalls the way Jahan helped her. She tries to excuse him.

Jahan stops her and says that he has a surprise for her. Biji allows her to sing and pursue her dream. It’s a good beginning in her life. He releases fire flies in front of her. Ilahi enjoyed the moment and thanked him. He collects the fireflies back and returns them to her. Jordan reaches there on time and asks Husna where Ilahi is. Jordan gets jealous about seeing Jahan with Ilahi. Jahan shares his experience with her. She asks her to hold the fire flies and shares her wish. Ilahi recalls Diljhot’s words and opens her eyes. She notices Jahan there and admires him. She excuses him. Jordan gets frustrated when he sees them together. Mahi searches for Jordan in his room and finds Ilahi’s picture in his room. She thinks that Jordan is losing his focus. She calls Anikha to arrange everything to stop Ilahi attending the competition. She assures her.

Ilahi hugs her dad and gives money to him. She says to her that it’s her first day at work. She gives Diljhot’s photo to him and says that she needs their blessings. Meanwhile, Jahan talks with his parents through video call. She feeds curd to him to congratulates him. Later, Mahi congratulates Jordan. She asks him to sing from his heart. He might win this competition. He assures her. Mahi tells him that they are getting late. Ilahi starts coughing. Amardeep worries about her. Mahi thinks that she will make sure Ilahi will be out of the competition in her first round.
