The episode starts with the priest starts saying the mantras. Anubhav sees Rony is going to fill Gungun’s hairline with vermilion. He fights with Rony’s friends and pushes Rony away then fills Gungun’s hairline with vermilion shocking Gungun and Ridesh. Gungun touches the vermilion and looks at Anubhav.

Rony charges towards Anubhav but the latter stops him and tells that Gungun is his wife now. He fills Gungun’s hairline while the mantras are chanted by the priest also infront of God. Even a person like Rony knows what is the meaning behind it so asks him to stay away from Gungun or else he won’t spare him. Shankar receives a call from someone and they tells that Anubhav is not in the wedding venue. He went somewhere without informing anyone. Shankar gets shocked and leaves the place.

Akriti gets shocked overhearing the Shankar’s conversation she wonders where Anubhav went and thinks maybe Gungun is trying to stop her marriage. She then thinks that she dont think that Gungun is that smart. Akriti’s friend tells even her another friends marriage the groom disappeared then they learnt he went to save his ex girlfriend. Akriti becomes restless and tells that Gungun is capable of snatching Anubhav from her. She calls Gungun but when the latter doesn’t answers she gets upset and angry.

She starts accusing Gungun but Garima comes there and tells Akriti that Gungun is not like Akriti and Shankar who always snatches other’s happiness with their wicked plannings. She further tells Gungun is an innocent girl who will never try to snatch someone’s happenings. Akriti becomes furious so asks Garima start praising Gungun and threatens to hurt Gungun if she tries to snatch Anubhav from her. Akriti’s friend asks Akriti to not to overthink because it’s not necessary that every groom will leave their bride to save their ex just like what happened to her other friend’s marriage.

Ridesh asks Anubhav what he done. Anubhav tells inorder to save Gungun from a criminal like Rony he did what’s right. He then realises what happened seeing the vermilion in his hand also in Gungun’s hairline. Anubhav tells Ridesh that he did this to save Gungun. Rony asks now who will save him from him and charges towards Anubhav but Anubhav hits him and Rony falls to the ground. Hearing the siren Rony’s friends runs away from there. Rony tries to take Gungun with him but Anubhav held Gungun’s hand and kicks Rony. The cops catches Rony.

Inspector tells both Anubhav and Gungun need to give their statement. Ridesh tells inspector they will give after there is an important work which is done. The inspector agrees and takes the priest’s statement then leaves the temple with Rony. Anubhav leaves Gungun’s hand. He then tells Ridesh that he will drop him and Gungun but Ridesh tells Anubhav that their driver is on their way so they don’t need his help. Ridesh tells that to stop Gungun’s marriage with Rony he filled Gungun’s hairline but why did he called her as his wife. Anubhav tells that he said what right that time.

Ridesh asks why did he told such things and now do he going to tell that he did this to fulfill his responsibilities. He also asks Anubhav do he know the meaning of filling a women hairline with vermilion and asks him to leave the place. The priest comes there and tells that Anubhav Anubhav filled Gungun’s hairline and tells its value and says that both Anubhav and Gungun has to perform the remaining ritual. Anubhav tells that he can’t do this because his bride is waiting for him. He then accuses Gungun for not choosing right friends.

Ridesh defends Gungun saying everyone does mistakes and tells that he dont know whether to thank him for saving Gungun or to get upset with him for insulting vermilion. He then takes Gungun from there. One of the cop gives them the bag. Gungun takes the bag and takes the gift out which she bought for Anubhav and takes inside the temple. Ridesh shakes his head. Anubhav and Gungun looks at each other. Kabhi Kabhie title song plays.

Anubhav approaches Gungun but the latter stops him by showing the gift bag and tells him it’s his wedding gift. Anubhav takes it and looks at it. Gungun tells she can’t able to attend his wedding that’s why she is giving it to him now. Anubhav finds it’s a ring and questions it’s not an expensive ring right. Gungun cracks a smile and assures him it’s not that expensive. Anubhav looks at Gungun’s hairline filled with vermilion.

Gungun asks him not to worry saying she will wash it away. Then wishes him all the best for his marriage then comes out of the temple. Ridesh asks Gungun why she take this much time to say bye to which the latter tells the last good bye always take some time. Ridesh asks Gungun to get into a car. Gungun stops him and asks that she is troubling him so much right. Ridesh tells Gungun that every father will worry about their daughter. They may forget to breath but will not stop worrying about their daughter. He also tells how he worried thinking how Gungun is going to survive this world alone after his departure.

Gungun scolds him and tells him not to say anything such and hugs him and pleads him to be there for her in this cruel world and Ridesh agress. The guests starts whispering how Anubhav left his own marriage just like that which upsets and worries the Kulshreshth’s. Anubhav tells that he can’t keep Akriti in dark and marry her if he does then it will be like he is betraying her. He then receives a call from Akriti who shares him how much she is worried about him. Anubhav assures her that he is on his way.

Gungun recalls the recent happenings. Ridesh brings her pakoras and gets shocked seeing Gungun didn’t wipe off the vermilion so he asks her to do it but Gungun refuses saying let that be there for some more time. Ridesh scolds her then his health gets detoriates which makes Gungun to worry about him so she gives him a glass of water and asks how he is feeling now. Ridesh tells unless she removes the vermilion from her head he won’t feel better.

Precap: Ridesh pleads Gungun to remove the vermilion considering it’s his last wish. Gungun cries and tells Ridesh that he is not happy with his daughter’s happiness and tells she will remove the vermilion from her head but she will make sure that it remains in her head at the same time. Other side Anubhav and Akriti exchanges the Garland. Gungun looks on with tear filled eyes from her room.
