The episode starts with UV’s mother taking a phone out from her bag and realising it’s not her phone. She sees Katha’s photo as a wallpaper and understands their phone get exchanged. She calls her number to contact Katha. There, UV in his room is seen reading a book. He hears a ringtone and gets emotional recalling his mother, who sang that song for him in his childhood. He goes near Katha’s bag, but Katha arrives there and takes the phone before UV could. Katha realises it’s not her, but she refuses to tell UV whose phone it is. UV asks Katha to change the phone’s ringtone and then leaves. Katha calls UV’s mother and assures her to return her phone to her. She also inquires her about her injuries. UV’s mother says she is fine because of Katha’s herbal paste.
Later, both Katha and Naina are seen making arrangements to begin Katha’s tea selling business from the next day. Naina asks Katha to inform UV that she is in her room or else UV will search for her. Katha sadly smiles and tells Naina that UV must be happy to have the entire room for a night so he won’t search for her. Meanwhile, UV thinks Katha went to the kitchen to sleep. He hopes it will not land him in trouble. He then decides to put a best stall on the occasion of Independence Day to make his mother proud. Back in Naina’s room, Katha sees a poster of Independence Day. She decides to begin her tea selling day on this occasion. She gets hopeful that she can able to repay the money to UV.
The next day, UV’s mother reaches the place where Katha is busy making arrangements to begin her business. Katha and UV’s mother greeted each other. UV’s mother finds Katha upset, so she asks her the reason behind it. Katha asks her whether a girl’s life should change after marriage. UV’s mother tells her that she may not know, but she knows a girl’s life changes often. They both then have a conversation about their life. Katha learns that UV’s mother doesn’t know her real identity while UV’s mother learns Katha’s marriage life. Katha asks UV’s mother to consider her as her family. The latter gets happy. She then blesses Katha, but Katha tells her that she blessed Maharaj Ji with whom she got married. UV’s mother smiles and says both Katha and her husband are blessed to have each other. Katha invites UV’s mother to her house to be part of Janmashtami puja, which will take place the next day. At first, UV’s mother refuses, but she eventually agrees and then leaves. While a sad UV wonders his mother’s whereabouts and says to himself that he misses her a lot.
Later, Katha decides to put her tea stall in the fair, but the organiser refuses to let her as she isn’t registered. Katha gets upset and sad, thinking she may not be able to repay UV. Just then, a drunken girl hits Katha’s vehicle with her car. Katha gets shocked, but she helps the girl come out of her hangover by making her drink the herbal juice. Aarya praises her. She then helps Katha to put her tea stall in the fair. Katha gets happy and expresses her gratitude to Aarya.
Precap: UV informs Eshwar that Katha is selling tea on the road. Eshwar gets shocked. He orders Katha not to anything such to put their family’s reputation at stake. He also reveals that UV’s mother chose her freedom over her children, so she left the house years back. Katha gets shocked while UV gets furious.
