The episode starts with Mohan expressing his concern for Katha, and he pleads with her to open the door while Katha breaks down that she is making Mohan face the humiliation again. Mohan pleads with Katha to open the door, saying that he isn’t aware of her sufferings, but he will talk to Eshwar to cancel the wedding and clear all the debt. Katha opens the door and says to her family that she will marry UV. Everyone gets shocked. They ask her the reason behind agreeing to this marriage, but Katha sends them from there and says to herself that she don’t want to stress Mohan both emotionally and financially. She further adds that her marriage is one of her responsibilities, and she doesn’t have any hope. Afterwards, Katha goes to the mandap. UV also arrives there. They both stare at each other. Eshwar and the entire family look happy and relieved.
The wedding ritual of Katha and UV begins. The priest asks them both to exchange the garlands. They do it with no interest. Afterwards, Naina does the gadbandhan for Katha and UV. The priest asks to call the bride’s father to perform the kanyadan. Katha recalls her father leaving the house , and Mohan says to her that he will be her father. So she tells the priest that her uncle Mohan is her father, so Mohan will do her kanyadan. Mohan and the family members get emotional. Mohan does the kanyadan of Katha. Both Mohan and Vandana give her a forehead kiss.
The priest asks both Katha and UV to take pheras. He also says that both of them should keep the vow. Both Katha and UV take pheras following the priests instructions. Everyone looks happy except Katha, UV, and Ambika. Prerna shows interest towards Pratty, which confuses and shocks the latter while Omi and Naina share a cute moment, too.
The priest asks UV to tie the nuptial chain on Katha. UV does it. He also fills the vermilion on Katha’s forehead under the instructions of the priest. The priest announces both Katha and UV are married now. Everyone looks happy. Tammy arrives there wearing a bridal dress, but she gets shocked seeing Katha and UV are already married, but she refuses to accept their marriage and then leaves. UV says to himself that he will never accept this marriage while Katha says to herself that all men aren’t trustworthy. Also, this marriage is her responsibility, so she will honour it for the elders’ sake.
Chandrika questions Katha’s ability to hold UV back until all the rituals get completed, but Rukmini asks her not to say anything inauspicious. The priest asks both Katha and UV to take the elders’ blessings. UV stands still, so Katha signs at him to take the blessings of Kailash and Chandrika. UV gives in and takes their blessings. Kailash advises Katha. UV decides to go to his café but Eshwar orders him to stay back with Katha until all the rituals get completed. UV shouts, saying it’s impossible. Katha gets shocked. Eshwar tells Katha to have faith in his decision. He further gives Katha the responsibility not to let UV leave until all the post wedding rituals get completed. Katha obliges. UV gets shocked and glares at Katha.
