The episode starts with Rukmini Devi instructing Katha to single-handedly prepare all the offerings for the Janmashtami puja. This demand places an immense burden on Katha, as she knows the task requires tremendous effort and time. Anxious and uncertain, she struggles with the thought of completing everything alone. However, her sister Naina, noticing her distress, assures Katha that she will secretly lend her a helping hand in the kitchen, easing some of her worries.
Meanwhile, Udayveer is shown in a moment of emotional vulnerability. He reflects on his longing for his mother, imagining how he would have cared for her if she were still by his side. His heartache highlights the emptiness that her absence has created in his life. At the same time, Sheetal calls Katha to ask if she can contribute to the preparations with a recipe. Instead of refusing, Katha requests Sheetal to prepare a special dessert for the celebration.
Parallel to these preparations, Tejas plots a sinister scheme. Determined to destroy Katha and Uday’s reputation, he plans to poison the food during the puja. His malicious intent casts a dark shadow over the festivities. However, the following morning brings a delightful surprise. Katha manages to arrange all the necessary ingredients for the puja, astonishing everyone with her efficiency and dedication. Her determination impresses most of the family, and she earns blessings from the elders. Yet, some malicious members of the household criticize her, claiming that the puja decorations are unnecessarily extravagant.
Unaware that Katha was behind the arrangements, Uday openly praises the beauty of the decorations, appreciating the effort that went into them. Just then, a few staff members arrive with the Prasad ordered for delivery to the Jindal house. Katha notices among them a person with a masked face—Tejas in disguise—but she fails to identify him.
The Janmashtami celebrations commence with great joy. Uday, forgetting his sorrow for a while, immerses himself in dancing and celebrating alongside his cousins. Eshwar, however, cannot help but notice Uday’s suppressed pain. He knows how much Uday misses his mother on such occasions and bitterly curses the woman who left her son without compassion. Amid the joyous atmosphere, Sheetal arrives at the Jindal residence on Katha’s invitation. Uday immediately senses something unusual, as though a significant presence has entered his world. He watches Katha conversing with Sheetal but fails to recognize his own mother’s face.
When Sheetal starts feeling unwell, Katha escorts her to another room to rest. Eshwar becomes curious about the guest and expresses a desire to meet her, but he is interrupted by a sudden phone call. Meanwhile, Katha serves Sheetal some food and refreshments. Strangely, Sheetal feels a deep sense of familiarity with her surroundings, as though she has visited the place before.
A group of media reporters arrive at the Jindal home to interview Uday. They inquire about his personal life and specifically ask him about his partner. Uday, however, chooses not to reveal Katha’s identity. Even when the reporters notice Katha and question him further, he deliberately hides the truth, keeping her significance concealed.
