The episode starts with Eshwar giving Katha a responsibility not to let UV leave before he completes the post wedding rituals. Katha obliges. She also promises to fulfil her marriage responsibility. UV gets angry while his cousins criticise Katha. Eshwar decides to leave for home. Harshvardan tells Eshwar the importance of the elders’ presence around Katha and UV to stop UV’s cousins plans if they plan anything. So Eshwar asks both Shlok and Charu to stay with them. They both oblige. Jindal’s leaves the place. Ambika decides to remove Katha from UV’s life using Tammy so that her children will get the property.
After Jindal’s leaves the house, Shlok starts teasing UV. He also advises him to stay for a night until the vidaai ceremony. Katha criticises UV for not knowing his family’s reputation. UV argues with her. He then refuses to stay with Katha and throws the gadbandhan away. Katha catches it. She recalls Eshwar and Chandrika’s words and says to herself that she has to stop UV from leaving her side before the vidaai ceremony. She looks at UV’s cousins and gets an idea.
Katha goes to UV’s cousins and asks Pratty to stop UV from leaving the place because he is a police man. UV’s cousins get shocked. They refuse to help Katha, saying UV won’t listen to them. Pratty says UV is forced to marry her so he won’t accept her as his wife. Katha says she wants UV to respect the elders’ decision. Also, she isn’t asking UV to accept their marriage. She further criticises Pratty for being a police man but refusing to help her. She then demands Pratty to do something. Both Pratty and Omi say to Katha that if they support her, then UV will feel betrayed by them so they won’t support her. Katha gets an idea. She then shares her idea with UV’s cousins to stop UV from leaving the place before the vidaai ceremony. While both Naina and Prerna worries about UV’s behaviour. Prerna gets disappointed that she can’t able to enjoy the celebration at night because of UV. After hearing Katha’s ideas, Pratty agrees to help her stop UV from leaving the place. Omi and UV’s friends get shocked hearing Pratty’s decision. Pratty signs at Prerna, then leaves.
There, Tammy throws things away out of anger, recalling the wedding of Katha and UV. She says that she won’t accept this marriage. Ambika arrives there and manipulates Tammy to do something to separate Katha and UV. Tammy tells her that Eshwar won’t let Katha and UV get separate. Ambika asks Tammy to find a way. Tammy agrees and gets determined to spoil the function. Ambika gets happy.
At the wedding venue, Shlok requests UV to wait until the vidaai ceremony gets completed. UV refuses, saying his café is more important for him. Just a few cops arrive there. UV gets shocked. He asks Pratty to convince the cops to let him leave, but to his surprise, Pratty asks the cops not to allow anyone to leave the venue until the vidaai ceremony. UV gets angry. Pratty defends himself. Shlok, Charu, Naina, and Prerna praise Katha for turning an impossible into possible. Both Katha and UV sit next to each other. UV vents out his frustration about his current situation, while Katha says that she understands UV’s feelings, but she has to fulfil her responsibilities.
Precap: Both Katha and UV reach the Jindal’s house. Under Chandrika’s instructions, Katha performs girahpravesh. She gets hurt. UV prevents her from falling down. He also taunts Katha. Chandrika commands on Katha. Katha gets upset.
