The episode starts with Eshwar telling UV that the latter is unnecessarily blaming Katha, who doesn’t intentionally hurt him. Ambika gets upset with Eshwar for stopping UV from throwing Katha out of the house. Eshwar tells UV that the latter can’t throw Katha out of the house. Before UV argues with Eshwar, Shikha intervenes and tries to calm down. Both Shikha and Charu request UV to let go of his anger and perform post wedding rituals with Katha, but UV throws the things and firmly says he won’t be part of any rituals He demands his family to choose between him and Katha. Katha pleads with him to forgive her and also not to hurt his family members. UV refuses to accept her apology and angrily leaves the place.
Katha follows UV, and she again pleads UV to forgive her, but UV lashes out at Katha for declaring his mother dead. He also tells her that he doesn’t accept his marriage with Katha and then leaves. Katha blames herself, but Shikha says to Katha that she has made a mistake but comforts her, and then she takes her inside. Chandrika taunts Katha for her failed attempt to bring UV back. She also badly criticises Katha. Rukmini expresses her disappointment towards Katha for hurting UV. Eshwar asks Rukmini to tell Katha that no one in the family knows whether UV’s mother is alive or not because she has left the house years back. Katha gets shocked. She recalls UV’s anger when she had a fight with him for the first time, in which she commented on UV’s mother. She regrets misunderstanding about UV’s mother, and she gets disappointed at herself for the blunder.
Chandrika tells the family members that she doesn’t think Katha will change UV after whatever has happened. She also criticises Eshwar. She further complained about the incomplete ritual. Katha takes the suhaag things, and she makes a promise to Eshwar that one day, she will change UV for sure. Eshwar gets happy and believes her words. So he asks his family members not to worry about UV, who will return home after he calms down. He also encourages Katha to perform her first rasoi. Katha obliges.
There, UV is seen driving his car over the speed limit. He recalls Katha’s words about his mother and everything that has happened. He vows not to accept Katha as his wife. Meanwhile, Ambika instructs Tammy to use this opportunity in her favour. Tammy obliges and decides to find out UV’s whereabouts.
Katha happily serves the dish prepared by her as a part of ritual to everyone. Ambika arrives there. Shikha confronts Ambika for misleading Katha about UV’s mother. Everyone gets shocked. Chandrika questions Ambika. Ambika pretends to get offended by Shikha’s confrontation. Chandrika rebukes Katha for creating a fight between Shikha and Ambika. Katha gets upset. Ambika says that she won’t be part of the ritual and then leaves. Katha follows her and pleads with her to change her decision, but Ambika refuses and leaves. So Katha gets hurt and questions her fate over her marriage life.
Precap: Katha asks herself if she won’t get her husband’s support at all. She also wonders whether UV will be present in their reception or else she has to perform the rituals alone.
