The episode starts with Amruta tricking Virat, who is intoxicated, into going to the Ahuja house by provoking him, saying that Dildar loves her more than him. Virat responds that Dildar loves him more than her and declares that he will go to Dildar first.
Virat arrives at Dildar’s and tells him that he came there first. He asks Dildar if he loves him more than anyone else. Amruta signals to Dildar that Virat is intoxicated. Dildar agrees with Virat, saying he loves him more than anyone. Nimrit asks what the competition is about. Virat explains it’s a competition to determine who Dildar loves more, and he won. Virat then accuses Amruta of trying to steal his father and says he will now impress her mother and win her over as well. Babita tells Virat that there’s no need to win anyone’s mom because his real mom loves him more than anyone else. Virat avoids talking to Babita and tells Amruta that he has never felt a mother’s comfort in his life because of Babita. He says Amruta is lucky to have a great mother, while he feels like a loser because of Babita. He then asks Amruta to take him to his room.
Virat falls asleep in his room, and Amruta stays beside him. Babita comes to the room to talk to Virat, but when Virat sees her, he goes into the bathroom to avoid her. Babita asks him to talk, expressing that she feels insulted, but Virat doesn’t respond from inside the bathroom.
Babita confronts Amruta, accusing her of turning Virat against her. Babita reminds Amruta that Bhavani hid Jayesh’s extramarital affair from her because Bhavani didn’t want to hurt them, and that she, Babita, did the same to protect Virat from harm. Babita warns Amruta not to get too comfortable in the house, saying she will soon throw her out.
Babita then meets Kavita and Bebe. Kavita asks if Amruta prevented her from talking to Virat, saying Babita’s face reveals everything. Bebe and Kavita comment negatively about Amruta. Babita calls Amruta cunning for impressing Dildar first and later making Nimrit her puppet. Nimrit and Anjali overhear the conversation. Anjali accidentally knocks over a vase, catching their attention. Kavita, Babita, and Bebe ask if Amruta sent them to spy on their conversation. Nimrit apologizes and asks Babita and the others if they aren’t ashamed of their behavior, reminding them that Virat’s condition is due to Babita’s actions. Nimrit warns Babita that if she doesn’t change, she might end up being a bad mother while trying too hard to be a mother-in-law. Nimrit and Anjali leave.
Ishika and Priyanka wait outside Jayesh’s house. Jayesh asks Ishika why she hasn’t come home since being released from jail and asks Priyanka why she’s there. Priyanka says she plans to stay for a few days. Jayesh says he can’t help others anymore. Priyanka insists he listen to her, saying it will benefit him. Jayesh agrees.
Amruta hears a sound from the bathroom and opens the door. Virat comes out, hugs her from behind, and tells her to stop being a coward. Amruta comments on his behavior and asks him to rest, saying she will go meet Bhavani.
