The episode begins with Wendy telling the cops that Harsha came to the Ahuja house after Amruta was shot. Virat comments on Wendy, pointing out that when Babita previously argued that Virat was innocent, no one believed her, but now they have to believe Wendy. Babita and Virat criticize Wendy, while Harsha lashes out at Virat. Gautam intervenes and stops Harsha.
Gautam tells Wendy that he cannot arrest Virat right now because Harsha’s fingerprints are also on the gun. He explains that he will wait for Amruta’s postmortem report and continue his investigation. Gautam instructs everyone not to leave the city until the investigation is complete and says he needs to take everyone’s statements. Dildar volunteers to give his statement first. Babita questions Dildar’s decision, reminding him that Virat is his son. However, Dildar responds by saying that Amruta was his daughter and comments on the situation.
Bhavani regains consciousness and recalls Harsha saying that Amruta is dead. She starts crying. Wendy tries to comfort Bhavani, but Bhavani asks Virat what he has done. Bhavani tells Virat that she warned Amruta not to go through with it, but Amruta didn’t listen. Bhavani looks at Priyanka and blames her for Amruta’s death. The two argue about it, and Priyanka accuses Virat of shooting Amruta. Bhavani lashes out at Priyanka.
Virat becomes worried about Bhavani revealing their plan to Priyanka. He pulls Bhavani aside, making up an excuse, and whispers to her that Amruta is with Shubh. Bhavani demands to see Amruta, and Virat promises to take her. He later pretends to be intoxicated and asks Amruta’s family to leave.
Virat calls Amruta, who asks if Bhavani is okay. Virat assures her that Bhavani is not fine and wants to meet her. Amruta warns Virat to make sure no one finds out that he’s bringing her back. Virat agrees.
Meanwhile, Harsha and Wendy decide to throw the Ahuja family out of the house, claiming it’s unnecessary for them to stay since Amruta is dead. Jahan intervenes and stops them, saying the Ahuja family will remain. Wendy reminds Jahan that Amruta is dead, but Jahan slips and says Amruta is alive. Realizing her mistake, she quickly covers it up, claiming that while Amruta may not be physically present, she is always with them in spirit. Jahan insists that the Ahuja family stay. Ishika observes everything and grows suspicious, wondering where Bhavani is.
Virat takes Bhavani to meet Amruta. Bhavani is relieved to see that Amruta is safe. Virat asks Bhavani to stop worrying about Amruta and instead focus on the next step of their plan: scaring Priyanka. However, Bhavani receives a call from Jahan, who informs her that Ishika has returned home. Upon hearing this, Bhavani decides to leave for the house.
