The episode starts with Adi and others arriving and seeing blood on Kavya’s hand. Adi asks Kavya what happened. Vicky also arrives and inquires about the situation.
Mayank calls Kavya, worried about her. The crowd sees that the security guard is injured, so they take him to the hospital.
Kavya tells Adi that she saw the ward boy who had changed the medicine, which led to her losing her baby. Kavya says she shot him in the leg, and although she tried to catch him, he ran away. She adds that she shot him again and suggests that they should search for him as he might be nearby. Malini then shouts for Adi.
Adi arrives and sees that Malini has been shot. He and others admit Malini to the hospital.
The police later come and inform Adi that their investigation revealed a bullet hit an iron rod in the corridor, causing it to reflect and hit Malini.
Adi asks Kavya if she shot Malini. Kavya explains that it was an accident and that she was aiming at the ward boy. The police say they haven’t found any traces of another person at the scene.
The police learn that the security guard has regained consciousness.
They ask the security guard if he saw anyone else besides Kavya. The security guard replies that there was no one else.
Seema asks her accomplice if he gave money to the security guard. The accomplice confirms and adds that the security guard will only lie. Seema then asks Kavya what she will do now.
Kavya tells the police that the security guard is lying. The police ask the security guard to explain what happened. The security guard claims that Kavya came to him and demanded a gun. When he refused, Kavya fought with him, stole the gun, and injured him during the struggle. Kavya denies this and asks the police to consider why she would lie. Adi says he will explain why: she wanted to disrupt his meeting, so she took the gun from the security guard, fired it into the air, and accidentally hit Malini. Kavya questions Adi if, even after all these years, he still believes she would do something like this. Vicky defends Kavya, saying to Adi that if Kavya says there was someone else there, then there was. Adi dismisses this as Vicky’s affection speaking. Vicky urges Adi to trust Kavya for once. The police then take Kavya into custody for stealing the security guard’s gun and firing it without a license.
Kavya’s family sees on the news that Kavya has been arrested for firing a gun and injuring someone. They learn that the injured person is Malini. The media portrays Kavya as if she has lost her mental balance.
Malini regains consciousness. Adi blames Kavya for Malini’s injury. Anjali defends Kavya, insisting that she would never do such a thing. Adi argues with Anjali about it. Giriraj takes Anjali aside.
Vicky seeks Gyaneswar’s help to get Kavya out of jail. Gyaneswar makes comments about Kavya, which upsets Vicky, leading him to leave.
Rajiv visits Kavya at the police station and reassures her that she will get bail. Kavya asks Rajiv if he found any information about the ward boy. Rajiv questions whether Kavya is sure the ward boy was real or if she might have been hallucinating. Hurt by Rajiv’s lack of trust, Kavya comments on him and sends him away. She thinks that only Vicky still believes in her.
