The episode starts with Santu saying to Adi that Kavya is coming. Santu closes the door. Adi and Santu decide to give a grand welcome to Kavya.
Giriraj talks with someone over the phone. Giriraj later says to Malini that he is invited as a chief guest to an important event. Malini says to Giriraj that this is great news.
Kavya opens the door. Adi and Santu congratulate Kavya as she has become an IAS officer from an IAS trainee. Kavya says to Adi that it is not just it and says she also got a gold medal that is given to her by the chief minister and shows it to Adi. Adi congratulates Kavya. Kavya says she still can’t believe it is true. Adi says he will make her believe it and carries her in his arms.
Adi praises Kavya. Kavya says she just hopes that Rajiv will forgive her and accept him. Adi says it will happen.
Malini is about to give Aarthi to Giriraj. Adi brings Kavya to Malini. Malini sees that Kavya got a gold medal so she does the warding off evil eye ritual to Kavya first instead of Giriraj. Malini also ties black thread to Kavya so that she will not get anyone’s evil eye. Santu comes and says to Adi that someone is calling him. Adi leaves from there. Malini does the warding off evil eye ritual to Giriraj. Giriraj gets upset seeing this.
Adi takes confidential files and asks Santu to put it in his study room. Omi sees Santu taking the confidential files and decides to find out what is it.
Omi comes to the study room and sees that the confidential files are none other than Bhasanthkhedi’s case. Adi takes the files from Omi and asks Omi what is he doing with his work. Omi asks Adi why is he trying to reopen the case file that has already been closed. Adi says he is a concerned citizen. Omi asks Adi if Kavya knows that he is investigating Navya’s death. Adi says no. Omi asks Adi to tell Kavya if he finds something if not he shouldn’t give hope and take it away. Adi agrees. Adi locks the room and leaves from there.
Rajiv sees the gold medal and calls Anjali and Mayank. Rajiv shows the gold medal to them. Kavya comes in front of her family and gives a speech about how her becoming an IAS officer was her father’s dream. Kavya says to Rajiv that he deserves this medal. Rajiv says this medal belongs to him.
Omi comes to Giriraj and reveals to Giriraj that Adi is trying to reopen Navya’s case.
Kavya says to her family that Adi is arranging a Havan and a small party to celebrate this event and asks her family to come and she also says Adi is going to give them a surprise.
Adi comes to his room and does to freshen up. Omi steals the key to his study room. Omi and Giriraj enter Adi’s study room and burn the confidential files and make it look like they caught fire due to the short circuit. Alka sees Omi and Giriraj entering Adi’s study room.
Santu shouts that there is fire on Adi’s study room. Adi hearing this tries to go and save the files but Santu stops him. Adi sees that the files have been burnt. Adi thinks how did the wire short circuit as nothing like this happened in the house before. Alka asks Giriraj and Omi if they saw anything. Adi gets surprised hearing this.
