The episode starts with Ishwari asking Dev that when will he bring Ayush home. Dev says Sonakshi wants to give it a time. Ishwari says he’s the descendant of the family and its already late. She says he needs to bring him home soon. Dev says all this is so sudden for Ayush and how can he accept everything easily. Ishwari advises him to bring Ayush home soon. Dev comes to Verma’s and finds Ayush’s parents struggling to do household chores. Dev helps him and Mr. Verma says grieves about his son. He says its even difficult to get his death certificate. Dev says he will help him clear the issues. He asks whether he spoke with Ayush. Mr. Verma says that he tried but he’s not ready to accept.
Dev goes to Ayush’s room and they both looks at each other. Dev gets emotional. He says Ayush that only yesterday he got to know he’s his father. Ayush says his father is no more. Dev says he can understand that he was his father and that’s a truth but there’s another truth which he never said to anyone. He says his father said the truth to him before dying. He explains whatever happened to Ayush. Dev promises to keep him happy and give him all the things he wanted. He says he even has a brother and sister.
Sona is feeling sad seeing Soha’s childhood pictures. Dev says Ayush that he and Soha were born in the day and the nurse exchanged them. Mr. Verma says that he’s his father and he’ll be happy with him. Ayush looks on thinking. Dev asks Ayush to pack his things while he and his mother will come to pick him tomorrow. He calls him Champ but Ayush corrects him to be Ayush. Dev takes his leave but before going he finds Ayush crying silently.
Ishwari asks Sona that whether she still couldn’t accept the truth. Ishwari says no one knows a child more than a mother. She says no relationship can be compared with mother. She asks her to think the 9 months of her pregnancy that can give a hint that shows that she gave birth to a son. Sona relates with many things but she ends up believing that Soha is her daughter. Ishwari asks her to think about something that can hint her that Ayush is her son. Soha comes there and shows her family tree which she made with so much happiness. Soha leaves while Sona worries about Soha. She pleads Ishwari to not let Soha learn the truth and Ishwari says she will make sure of it.
Sona and Dev comes to Ayush home. Mr. Verma says Ayush is a very understanding child and can take of all his works himself. Mrs. Verma says that he just can’t have singaani as he’s allergic to it since birth. Sonakshi recalls saying to Ishwari that she hates singaani during her pregnancy. Everyone goes to Ayush’s room but couldn’t find him. Dev immediately searches down the bed and finds him. He Dev asks him not to fear but Ayush says that he wants to take his father’s picture with him. Dev agrees and Ayush bids bye to his grandparents and they promise to visit him.
Sona asks Dev how he knows he’s under the bed for which Dev says he used to do the same in his childhood. Dev asks Sonakshi to sit in backseat with Ayush. Sonakshi introduces herself to Ayush but he doesn’t say anything. He later asks if he can call her aunty and she says yes. After reaching home, Sona asks Dev to call his mother to make sure everything is normal but Dev says she knows everything. Once they go in they gets shocked seeing the welcome decorations and Sona gets irked. Ishwari takes his aarti and calls him replica of Dev.
