The episode starts with Mani giving shagun to Naren. Naren refuses to take it, but both Ishwar and Mani insist on him, saying that he shouldn’t leave in an empty hand. Naren tells him that he isn’t leaving an empty hand but with lots of memories and new relationships. He then informs Ishwar about his idea to postpone his trip. Nandini gets happy. Ishwar insists Naren stay at their house for the night. Naren hesitates, but Nandini also insists him so Naren agrees. Everyone gets happy.
Later, Naren asks Ishwar the reason behind Nandini’s angry behaviour whenever someone talks about dowry in front of her. Nandini hears it from the kitchen. Ishwar tells Naren that Nandini lost two people whom she loved the most because of dowry. He also says that Nandini lost her best friend Jyoti and her mother, Surbhi. Naren gets shocked.
Ishwar tells Naren that when Nandini was 3 years old, Surbhi committed suicide because of the disease dowry. He tells Nandini’s father Mannar’s demand increased despite them trying to fulfil his demands. He also says that Surbhi returned home when Nandini was 2 years old. They all learned that Surbhi was again pregnant. Flashback shows in which Surbhi shares her fear with Mannar’s reaction if she gives birth to another girl, but Mani assures her the same. Ishwar tells Naren that they learned Mannar married another woman. Mannar also raised a question about Surbhi’s character after she gave birth to Mitesh. Naren gets upset. Nandini cries hard hearing Ishwar’s conversation with Naren. Ishwar recalls Surbhi committing suicide. Naren and Ishwar notice that Nandini is hearing their conversation. Nandini runs out of the house. Naren tells Ishwar that he knows where Nandini is going, so he will bring her back, and then he leaves from there. Ishwar stares ahead.
Naren meets Nandini near the well where Surbhi committed suicide. Nandini tells him that now he must have realised why she hates and gets furious whenever she hears the word dowry as she lost both her mother and best friend. Naren promises to marry Nandini without dowry. He also tells her together that they will fight against the disease like dowry. Nandini gets happy and hopeful.
The next day, in Rajkot, the Ratansi ladies arranged the dining table, and then the men in the family members took their place in the table. Meanwhile, in Upleta, Mitesh asks Nandini to have breakfast with them in a teasing way. Nandini agrees. She sits beside Naren. There, the entire Ratansi’s waits for Hemraj. The Ratansi brothers tell their younger brother that they should wait for Hemraj. Hemraj arrives there. In Upleta, Mehul’s mother insists Naren have dinner from the table, but Naren refuses, saying he is comfortable sitting with others.
There, Jigar mocks his brother about his alliance when the latter comments about Hetal and Dhawal’s differences. Hearing the voice of Hemraj, they both become silent. Meanwhile, Nandini tells the family members that she will take care of them all. Naren asks her what she will do after she gets married. Everyone gets tensed but Nandini says that Mitesh’s wife will take care of the family members. The episode ends with Hemraj telling his family about his evening meeting with Sujan Dharamshi to fix Naren’s marriage.
