The episode starts with a lady demanding Vishaka to cover her face with a veil. Sheetal helps Vishaka to cover her face. Nandini questions the lady. The lady says it’s an old customs which they should follow. Otherwise, muh dikhayi ritual doesn’t have no meaning of it. Nandini jokingly asks the reason behind such ritual by addressing her as Tai Ji. Naren gets impressed by Nandini’s brave act. Vineet tries to side with Nandini, but Tai Ji scolds him. She also asks Nandini not to make fun of this tradition. Nandini clarifies that her intentions aren’t to hurt or insult their traditions. She points out there is a reason behind such ritual that has followed years back, but there is no need to follow this nowadays. Tai Ji announces the wedding won’t take place if they don’t follow the ritual. Everyone gets worried. Mani complains about Nandini’s behaviour, but Ishwar defends Nandini’s act.
Nandini tries to make Tai Ji understand the reason behind her opposing this tradition for everyone’s well-being, especially women’s. She also asks Tai Ji to recall that even she must’ve suffered during her wedding because of this tradition. Vineet’s father agrees with Nandini, so he asks his wife to remove the veil from Vishaka’s face. Everyone sees that Vishaka suffered by a breathing problem because of following the tradition. Tai Ji gets upset, so she leaves the place. Ashok pleads her to listen to him. Nandini also goes behind Ashok and Tai Ji.
Nandini apologises to Tai Ji if she hurt her emotions. She also tells her it’s not her intention. She then explains to her that it’s not the right thing to follow such tradition that has no meaning in it. She further requests Tai Ji to punish her but not both Vishaka and Vineet, who needs her blessings. Tai Ji gets convinced by Nandini. Naren gets impressed by Nandini’s courageous act.
Later, Vishaka and Vineet’s wedding takes place. Nandini and other girls demand money from the groom in return for his footwear. Naren tells Nandini that the footwear they have is his, so he asks them to return it. Nandini and the girls refuse to give it back to him. Vineet gives money. But Nandini takes only 500 rupees, saying they shouldn’t burden other’s in the name of rituals. Naren gets impressed again. Mani looks happy seeing the closeness of Naren and Nandini.
Naren decides to take Vishaka and Vineet to the temple so Nandini also accompanies them as per Vishaka’s request. Naren praises Nandini’s courage about voicing out her opinion always. Nandini says she has answers for all the questions, so Naren asks her when she is going to get married, which leaves Nandini speechless. Meanwhile, Hemraj tells Chanchal that he invited Sujan and his family as they can’t let them wait for a long time. He also orders Chanchal to ask Naren to return home. Chanchal hears.
There, Nandini tells Naren that in order to get them married, they need Naren’s parents’ permission. Naren says to her that he will ask Chanchal to talk to Hemraj about their marriage. He then receives a call from Chanchal. He informs her that he has a surprise for her. He also tells her that he is returning home soon. Chanchal gets happy. Nandini questions Naren’s distant bond with Hemraj. Naren grows anxious, recalling Hemraj’s punishment when he was a kid. Nandini gets worried seeing Naren’s state.
Precap: Naren learns about Surbhi committed suicide because of the dowry demand, so he makes a promise to Nandini. Meanwhile, Hemraj announces his family about his decision related to Naren’s marriage.
