The episode starts with Prarthna’s dupatta getting tangled with Raunak’s shirt. Raunak untangles it and leaves. Smita is shown cooking in the kitchen for Raunak. Harsha and Tanuj ask Raunak where the gifts he bought for them are. Raunak says he hasn’t bought any gifts. Harsha and the others question him again, asking if he really didn’t bring anything. Raunak then laughs and says he was joking—he has brought gifts for everyone. The servant brings in Raunak’s luggage.
Smita brings Raunak’s favorite dish and feeds him. She then asks Harsha to distribute the gifts. Harsha agrees and gives the gifts to everyone. Shubhi asks Raunak if he brought anything for Smita. Raunak says her gifts are in another room. Smita asks him to go and freshen up, and Raunak agrees.
Later, Smita asks the servant to call Kishan’s eldest daughter, saying there is work to be done in the house. The servant agrees and leaves.
Meanwhile, Seema and Prarthna are preparing food. The servant arrives and informs Prarthna that Smita is calling her to the mansion. Prarthna agrees and goes to get her dupatta.
Gayatri asks Prarthna why she is working double shifts and tells her that she will get whatever is written in her destiny. Prarthna responds that she is shaping her own destiny and comments on it.
Prarthna gets ready to leave. Kishan asks Seema to at least give Prarthna something to eat before she goes. Seema, however, tells Prarthna to stop acting like she was forced to take up the work, adding that she is doing it of her own will. Prarthna agrees and then leaves.
Smita asks Devika to send Payal over, saying she doesn’t want Payal and Raunak to meet at the inauguration ceremony, as it will be chaotic. She adds that if Payal meets Raunak beforehand, they will have a chance to get to know each other. Devika agrees.
Payal arrives at Raunak’s house and runs into Prarthna. Prarthna apologizes and walks away.
Shubhi and Deepti greet Payal. Payal asks for Smita, and they ask her to wait until Smita arrives.
Meanwhile, Prarthna enters Raunak’s room to collect some things. Raunak, thinking it’s his cousin, asks for a towel. Prarthna hands him the towel. When she sees Raunak coming out of the washroom in a towel, she feels shy and hides behind the curtain.
Smita greets Payal and asks her to go to Raunak’s room to meet him. Payal agrees and leaves. Shubhi and Deepti question Smita about why she sent Payal to Raunak’s room. Smita reveals that she is considering getting Payal and Raunak married. Deepti says if that’s what Smita has decided, then it must be for the best.
Payal enters Raunak’s room. When she is about to fall, Raunak catches her. She gets mesmerized by him and starts flirting. Raunak asks what she is doing in his room. Payal explains that their mothers, Smita and hers, are both friends and business rivals, so they thought of arranging their marriage. Raunak comments on this. He then makes up an excuse and sends Payal away. However, he notices someone hiding behind the curtain and pulls it aside.
