The episode starts with Suraj saying to Ambica that he is leaving the house. Kesar stops Suraj and says to Suraj that tomorrow is his Haldi ceremony and says he should not leave the house. Leela overhears this and asks Suraj why is he leaving the house. Suraj says to Kesar that he is leaving the house. Suraj leaves from there. Kesar chases Suraj. Kesar’s Dupatta catches fire. Darshan shouts for Kesar saying her Dupatta caught fire.
The Rajgaur family shouts for Kesar to throw the Dupatta away but she doesn’t listen to anyone. Suraj hearing everyone’s shouts goes back and throws the Kesar’s Dupatta away. Suraj puts out the fire with his hand and asks Kesar where was her attention. Kesar hugs Suraj. Suraj asks Kesar to take care of herself. Suraj gets into his car and tries to leave but Kesar doesn’t allow Suraj to leave the house. Suraj asks Kesar to allow him to leave. Kesar says she will also leave the house with him. Suraj says he never wants Kesar to suffer the pain of staying from the family. Suraj agrees to stay back but he puts forth a condition to Kesar that she should not trust anyone without talking to her: Kesar agrees and hugs Suraj.
Suraj comes to Ambica and says to Ambica that her plan to send him out of the house has failed as Kesar stopped him from leaving the house. Ambica says it was never her intention for him to leave the house. Suraj asks Ambica to stop telling lies. Suraj says to Ambica that if she wants his son back then she needs to act like Ambica’s mother in law. Suraj leaves from there.
Ambica asks Leela if she heard what Suraj said and comments on it. Leela asks Ambica not to do the same mistake of sending Suraj away from her again and says Kesar clearly said that she will also leave the house with Suraj if he leaves the house.
Ambica brings Haldi to Suraj and applies Haldi to him. Ambica says she will go to Kesar to apply Haldi. Suraj reminds Ambica that a mother in law doesn’t apply Haldi to her daughter in law.
Kesar thinks why hasn’t Ambica come to apply Haldi to her. The Rajgaur family members apply Haldi Suraj and Kesar.
Kabir and Shakuntala come to Rajgaur’s mansion. Shakuntala runs into Jinal who is carrying Haldi. The Haldi spills on Kabir. Jinal says to Shakuntala that this is Kesar’s Haldi which should first be applied to Suraj. Kabir asks Shakuntala to watch where is she going.
Ansh comes to a side and calls Aarthi asking her why hasn’t she come till now. Aarthi reveals to Ansh about Kabir loving Kesar but he would never reveal it and suffer in agony in himself. Ambica overhears about this and thinks why hasn’t she noticed this before. Ambica thinks Kesar might also have feelings for Kabir but she never realised it as Kesar is bound by her Sankalp. Ambica thinks Kabir is the answer to her problems. Ambica comes to Kabir and asks Kabir to apply Suraj’s name Haldi to Kesar.
