The episode starts on a joyful and energetic note as the dholi and Ashu ji enter the set along with the entire cast and crew of Laughter Chef. The atmosphere immediately fills with excitement as they begin singing and dancing to traditional Lohri songs. Everyone joins in, clapping, twirling, hugging one another, and celebrating the festive spirit with full enthusiasm. The set looks vibrant and alive with laughter, music, and warm camaraderie. After the celebration, Krishna thanks the dhol player and Ashu ji for adding such beautiful energy to the show and extends Lohri wishes to all the contestants and viewers.
Harpaalji then announces the day’s first cooking challenge. The teams have to prepare “Makki di killa,” which essentially means popcorn made from corn. The twist is that they have to make two varieties — one sweet, flavoured with jaggery (gud), and the other a simple salted version. Soon, all the ingredients are placed on the kitchen counters, and the contestants begin discussing how they will approach the task, some confidently and others with visible nervousness.
As the cooking begins, Debina takes charge and starts guiding Guru on how to handle the mitti (the popping corn). While giving instructions, she keeps repeating the funny phrase “jhur jhur,” which immediately catches everyone’s attention. The others start laughing and teasing her, asking what kind of cooking language that is. Debina jokingly explains that her mother-in-law is sitting there watching her cook, so she is extra careful with her words and technique.
On the other side, Teja suddenly panics as she notices her corn beginning to burn. She loudly screams that her mitti is getting burnt and worries that she won’t be able to manage the dish without Karan, since Arjun is helping her today. Seeing her in trouble, Elvish quickly steps in to help and calm her down.Meanwhile, Abhishek creates his usual drama by repeatedly shouting Jannat’s name, begging her to come and save him. He acts as if he is completely helpless. Jannat snaps back at him, asking if he has lost his mind, while Isha pulls her away so that she doesn’t get dragged into his theatrics. Isha Singh then starts roaming around the set announcing that she is now part of Team Kaata and will no longer go to “Mr. Sannata.” Her playful declarations add to the comic chaos on the floor.
Arjun and Krishna also join in the fun by teasing Teja, making up funny stories about Karan and her reactions to him. Isha stands beside Ali and praises his cooking skills, which makes Vivian visibly jealous and annoyed.
Back at her counter, Debina becomes irritated with Guru, scolding him for putting too much corn at once and risking burning it. She tells him to add smaller portions, but when he doesn’t listen properly, she gets upset and dramatically declares that she won’t do anything anymore. At that moment, Harpaalji intervenes and clarifies that Guru is actually right — bigger portions are needed for proper popping. Krishna then playfully asks Guru’s mother if she is okay with Guru following Debina’s instructions in the kitchen. She smiles and says there is no problem because cooking should be a team effort. Krishna goes a step further and asks her husband Gurmeet what he cooks at home, to which Gurmeet jokingly replies that his father is the only one who eats there, creating more laughter.Meanwhile, Karishma’s popcorn begins to almost burn, so Elvish rushes to help her in time.
Krishna also steps in to guide Gurmeet, explaining the right technique for making perfect popcorn.
Isha Singh returns to Vivian’s counter and teasingly asks him whether he missed her. Vivian bluntly asks why she has come back, but she continues to hover around and disturb him, adding to the playful tension between them.
Finally, after the countdown ends, Harpaalji begins tasting the popcorn prepared by all the teams. Everyone waits anxiously for the verdict. After sampling the dishes, Harpaalji announces that Ali has made the best popcorn of the day, and Team Kaata wins another star. With this win, both teams are now tied, making the competition even more exciting for the upcoming episodes.
Harpaalji says that there’s a big surprise for all of them. He says that he will introduce them to a companion who would capture all their special moments and introduce the Realme 16 pro mobile. He clicks group and couple photos. All the contestants hold the phone in their hands and check out the camera. On this launch occasion, the Dhol player comes in again and plays some music.
For the next round, Harpaalji says that they would have to cook Sarson da saag and Makke di Roti but the roti would be cooked on mitti ka chullah. Elvish says that he knows this very well and he’s going to rock it. They have to make one roti but in a traditional method and in perfect shape. He announces the pantry run name list and makes the countdown.
After the pantry run ends, everyone checks their ingredients and some of them wonder what all they have brought. Isha asks Vivian which one is sarson and which one paalak. Debina asks for some help with the ingredients from the others but they don’t give anything. So she comes back and tells Guru that he goes for everyone’s help but now when she needs help, everyone is screaming. Krishna asks Harpaalji a tricky question. After hearing the answer, Krishna says that comedy isn’t safe anymore. Debina says that bathua saag is also used for the sarson saag but some disagree with this. He sends Guru to steal it from Ali and he successfully steals the bathua saag. Krishna guides Ali and his other team mates for cooking this ingredient. He misguides Elvish saying they need to put water in. Debina also follows this while Krishna smirks since he knows water would spoil sarson saag. Isha has brought custard powder to the counter by mistake. Krishna teases her due to this.
Debina tells Guru that the way he is working is looking like the roadside dirty restaurants. Harpaalji shows the phukni and tells everyone that they need to use it for increasing the flame of the mitti chullah. Teja mends the puncture of the handmade roti and goes to Ali’s counter. Ali objects and asks her to go back to her counter. Krishna helps Karishma and for the first time cooks himself for the most part. Arjun gives Teja the task of making the roti but she fails to do it properly again and again. After the countdown ends, Harpaalji starts tasting. He declares the entire team Kaata the winners of this round.
