The episode starts with Nandita, who finally returns home after recovering from the hospital. She is warmly welcomed by the family members. However, Nandita has been waiting for Khushi, who has not yet come to meet her. She is surprised not to see Khushi anywhere, but suddenly Khushi comes downstairs.
Seeing Khushi’s normal behavior and attire, Nandita becomes extremely surprised. Khushi is wearing her own clothes and has wiped off her sindoor and mangalsutra. Khushi clearly states that she does not want to stay in Baldev’s house anymore. She returns all the jewelry and the main key of the house to Nandita.
Baldev asks Khushi whether anyone has told her anything, but Khushi clarifies that no one has influenced her decision and that she has chosen to leave the house permanently on her own. When Khushi addresses Baldev as “sir,” Nandita is shocked. Khushi explains that she has no right to address Baldev and Nandita as her grandparents since she is not truly connected to their family.
Krishna tries to stop Khushi, but she refuses to listen to anyone. Khushi then accepts the truth and reveals that she and Krishna were only acting as a couple. As soon as the truth comes out, Queenie and Vikram feel assured.
Khushi further reveals her past, saying that she used to live in Modelpura, where she earned her living by ironing other people’s clothes. She admits that lying to others was never difficult for her, but acting in front of Nandita, who always loved her with a motherly affection, was unbearable. Khushi also expresses deep guilt for betraying her own father, Rajkumar. She says that if he ever comes to know that she pretended to be someone’s wife by wearing sindoor and a mangalsutra, he would die of shame.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Khushi blames herself for everything. Out of anger and heartbreak, Nandita slaps both Khushi and Krishna. Khushi then exposes Krishna’s true character. Krishna admits that he was helpless and was forced to act as Baldev’s grandson.
When Khushi reveals that Baldev himself had requested them to act as the grandchildren of Baldev and Nandita, Nandita is deeply hurt. She feels that her husband has mocked her emotions. Nandita had truly considered Khushi and Krishna as her son and daughter-in-law, and this revelation shatters her completely.
Heartbroken and devastated, Nandita refuses to speak to Baldev anymore. She walks into her room, leaving everyone behind in an atmosphere filled with pain, regret, and emotional turmoil.
