The episode opens with Baldev, who is deeply moved by Khushi’s warm and considerate behavior as she looks after his wife, Nandita. Her sincerity touches him so much that he finds himself wishing he had a daughter like Khushi or at least the opportunity to bring such a caring girl into his home. Feeling an instant bond, Khushi becomes curious about Baldev’s personal life and gently asks why his children do not take responsibility for their mother’s wellbeing. Baldev briefly shares a condensed version of his story, hinting at the emotional distance and challenges within his family. Khushi expresses her good wishes for him, and Baldev is visibly affected by her genuine kindness.
Meanwhile, Krishna remains troubled by Khushi’s earlier harsh but truthful words that his mother was suffering because of the consequences of his own actions. These words haunt him, pushing him to confront his guilt. Feeling the need to seek forgiveness, he decides to apologize to Rajkumar, who has been enduring this hardship because of him. Krishna quietly goes to Rajkumar’s hospital cabin and asks the attending nurse about his condition. The nurse assures him that Rajkumar is stable and out of danger. Once she steps out, Krishna approaches Rajkumar and apologizes, but Rajkumar reacts with distress and agitation upon seeing him.
The nurse quickly returns and firmly instructs Krishna to leave the cabin. At the same time, Khushi learns that Krishna had attempted to meet her father without permission. Furious, she blames him again, saying that Rajkumar is suffering solely because of Krishna’s past misdeeds. Deeply hurt, Krishna promises never to show himself before them again. But Khushi, though angry, reminds him that choosing the right path takes time, and forgiveness from both people and the divine is not easily granted to someone who has committed wrongs.
At another place, Aradhana prepares to visit the hospital to see Nandita. However, Vikram and Queenie grow jealous and resentful, upset that Aradhana is being allowed to meet their mother while they are not. Diljit intervenes and advises them to be patient, assuring them that their turn will come.
Back at the hospital, Baldev begins to seriously consider the idea of bringing Khushi and Krishna into his household to take care of Nandita. He has started believing that together they might bring a positive change—something almost magical—into their lives. He shares this idea enthusiastically with Satpal. But Satpal, upon learning that Khushi is Rajkumar’s daughter, becomes doubtful. He insists that Khushi will never accept such an arrangement. According to him, Khushi despises Krishna because she holds him responsible for her father’s deteriorated condition. Once she learns the full extent of the proposal that she would have to live under the same roof and even pretend to be Krishna’s wife. Satpal is certain she will refuse immediately. Baldev, however, remains hopeful despite the complications ahead.
