The episode opens with Krishna forcefully lifting Khushi into his arms and refusing to put her down despite her strong resistance. Khushi reacts angrily, struggling to free herself, but Krishna remains firm. Even when a neighbour intervenes and requests him to listen to Khushi, Krishna ignores both the neighbour and Khushi’s repeated pleas and carries her all the way to the temple.
At the temple, Khushi is encouraged to follow the rituals performed by other married women. She is reminded that, as a suhagan, she should participate in the customs. However, Khushi hesitates when asked to apply vermilion on her forehead. The people around her explain that Krishna protected her dignity during a difficult time and deserves her prayers. Khushi is asked to pray for Krishna’s well-being, yet she feels no emotional bond with the man she considers an imposed husband.
Sensing her discomfort, Krishna understands her hesitation. Although he does not force her to accept their relationship, he quietly promises to support her in every situation and stand by her through all hardships. Despite his reassurance, the rituals and constant advice disturb Khushi deeply, as she does not recognize Krishna as her husband. She longs to make her own decisions and live life on her own terms. Overwhelmed, Khushi repeatedly asks Krishna to leave her alone, believing that only distance from him can bring peace into her life.
Later that same day, Khushi faces a devastating blow. A group of officials arrive at her shop and begin destroying it, claiming that she has been illegally running her business on government property. Despite her desperate pleas and repeated requests for mercy, they refuse to listen and mercilessly smash her shop before leaving the place in ruins.
Soon after, Queenie arrives at the scene and mocks Khushi sarcastically. She reminds Khushi of her earlier challenge—that she would one day become richer than the Mehra family. Queenie coldly advises her to leave the city immediately, warning that she will never allow Khushi’s business to grow. Mamta and Khushi quickly realize that Queenie is the mastermind behind this cruel conspiracy. Determined not to surrender, Khushi boldly declares that she will not leave her home. Instead, she vows to rebuild her business and become more successful than Queenie herself.
Upon learning the truth behind Queenie’s scheme, Krishna makes a shocking decision. He begins packing his bags, determined to leave the Mehra house immediately. He assures Dimpy that he will take Khushi away with him and start a new life, abandoning wealth, property, and power. Before leaving, Krishna fiercely confronts Queenie and Nandita, condemning their heartless treatment of Khushi, who never desired their money or status.
As Krishna prepares to walk out, Nandita breaks down and begs him to stay. Krishna lays down strict conditions: Queenie must apologize to Khushi and return all the materials she had confiscated from her shop. Queenie initially refuses, but when Nandita’s health deteriorates and she collapses, she panics. Fearing for Nandita’s life, Queenie finally agrees and restores everything to Khushi.
