The episode opens with Khushi firmly telling Krishna that she no longer wants him anywhere near her. She believes that every time he shows up before her, misfortune follows, and she cannot bear any more trouble in her life. After her blunt statement, both of them walk away in different directions, each disturbed in their own way. Meanwhile, Diljit and Queenie keep searching for them but fail to locate either. Just then, Queenie catches a sudden glimpse of Dimpy stepping into an auto-rickshaw. The sight of Dimpy’s face leaves her stunned to the core, yet the heavy traffic prevents her from following the vehicle. Helpless, she watches the auto disappear into the crowd.
Later, Khushi receives her salary and uses it responsibly to buy medicines and all the essential items her family needs. When she reaches home, everyone is astonished to see the amount she has earned. The shock quickly shifts to excitement as Mamta and Sweety begin demanding unnecessary luxuries, from sarees to a new scooty. Rajkumar, however, stays serious. Worried for his daughter’s dignity, he asks Khushi about the nature of her work. He does not want her involved in anything questionable. But Khushi avoids giving details about her job arrangement. Instead, she reassures her father from the bottom of her heart that she will never participate in anything shameful or dishonorable that could tarnish their family name.
On the other side of the story, Queenie hurries home and tells her brother Vikram what she saw. Both siblings are shocked to even imagine that Dimpy might be in their city. But Queenie remains troubled—Dimpy did not look mentally well, and something about her appearance felt disturbingly off. Diljit, too, becomes tense upon hearing the news. Realizing that Baldev must be unaware of this, he immediately begins searching for Dimpy across various homes and care centers, determined to uncover the truth.
As the day progresses, Baldev summons both Khushi and Krishna to a temple. He wants to formally introduce them and set the foundation for the plan they’ve been preparing. However, the moment the two see each other, they are horrified. Their faces fall, and without saying a word, they attempt to rush out. Both feel it would be easier to die than pretend to be married to one another. Their disgust and anger leave Baldev completely baffled. Trying to regain control, he urges them to listen to him, reminding them that their mission is more important than their personal grudges.
Baldev then pulls Krishna aside and pushes him to remember the injustice he caused Khushi. Krishna admits that he is terrified of Khushi’s temper—she is nothing less than an angry firecracker to him. Yet in that moment, he comes up with an idea. He approaches Khushi and earnestly promises that he will confess in court that he had falsely testified against Rajkumar. He assures her that once the workers learn the truth, they will apologize to her father and stand by him, helping him heal faster. With a vow taken in the name of his mother, Krishna repeats his promise. Only then does Khushi finally relent. Agreeing to the plan, she signs the agreement papers and prepares to act as Krishna’s wife.
