The episode opens with Khushi’s father, Rajkumar, calling her to confirm whether she has safely arrived in Mumbai. Encouraged by Sweety and Mamta, he also requests a video call so he can personally see the Mumbai surroundings. Khushi is instantly thrown into panic. She has no idea how to reveal the truth to her father without devastating him. If Rajkumar learns what is actually happening, he will be shattered. Unable to come up with a solution in that moment, Khushi buys time by giving an excuse and promises that she will call them through video after one hour.
Seeing her distress, Krishna steps in and reassures her. He promises that during the next hour he will find some way to help her avoid suspicion from her father. True to his word, Krishna quickly seeks out Sameer, and with his help takes Khushi to a professional studio. The studio has a specially designed backdrop that mimics the appearance of Mumbai city life. The lifelike painting of the seashore and the urban skyline amazes Khushi. It looks authentic enough to convince anyone.
Gathering her courage, Khushi finally calls her father. She positions the camera carefully and shows him the artificial Mumbai scenery. Rajkumar, seeing what looks like a genuine coastal view, is completely convinced that his daughter has indeed reached Mumbai. Sweety and Mamta, who are watching the call from his side, are equally stunned and confused, believing Khushi is truly in the city. Relieved and overjoyed, Rajkumar expresses how happy and proud he feels for her.
However, when the call ends, Khushi’s relief turns into guilt. She feels deeply troubled for deceiving her innocent father who trusts her blindly. Watching her silently break down, Krishna becomes emotional too. He cannot bear seeing her in tears and tries to comfort her by offering her a plate of vada pav, hoping the familiar taste will lift her spirits. Sameer quietly observes Krishna’s behaviour and realizes clearly that Krishna’s feelings for Khushi are growing stronger day by day.
A few hours later, Krishna and Khushi return home after completing their errands. They start distributing the gifts they have supposedly brought from America. Most family members are delighted with the selection and appreciate the thoughtful choices.
However, Diljit, Vikram, and Queenie react differently. They are unable to accept the gifts gracefully due to their hostile attitude toward Khushi. They even instruct their children to return the gifts, but the children refuse, clearly liking them. This entire situation upsets Khushi, who feels hurt despite her efforts to please everyone.
Noticing the sadness on her face, Nandita steps forward with strong support. She advises Khushi not to let the harsh words and criticism of unpleasant people affect her. Turning to her own daughter, Queenie, Nandita sternly warns her to stop speaking ill of Khushi. She openly expresses her belief that one day soon Khushi will give birth to Krishna’s child. Finally, Nandita hands over the full responsibility of the household to Khushi, showing complete trust and acceptance of her.
