The episode opens with Rajkumar and Mamta arriving at the temple to perform a special pooja for Khushi’s success. While arranging the offerings, Mamta gently reminds Rajkumar that they should also include a prayer for Sweety’s well-being. Baldev, who is with them, provides the priest with all the essential details about Khushi’s birth before the ritual begins. Their devotion shows how deeply they care for their daughter, even though they are unaware of her presence nearby.
At the same time, Krishna and his family also reach the same temple to offer their own prayers. Coincidentally, both families are present without knowing the other is close. During the process, Khushi suddenly cuts her foot on a sharp object. Krishna immediately rushes to her aid. With calm concern, he takes out his handkerchief and tends to the wound himself. While he wraps the cloth around her foot, Khushi remains anxious and frightened—her mind repeatedly returning to the fear that Queenie will once again interrogate her about the missing mangalsutra.
Krishna senses her worry and assures her that he will manage everything just as he did before. Comforted slightly, Khushi holds Krishna’s hand tightly as they finally make their way inside the temple to join the others.
When the priest hears the birth details Krishna provides for the ritual, he is startled. The information matches exactly with the details of Rajkumar’s daughter. Khushi immediately realizes that her parents must have been in the temple only moments earlier. Krishna quickly tries to diffuse the situation by explaining that many people can share the same date and place of birth, attempting to avoid suspicion.
Meanwhile, Mamta suddenly remembers she has forgotten her purse inside the temple. She returns to retrieve it and finds it lying behind Khushi. While picking it up, Mamta accidentally bumps into her from behind. Though Mamta does not see Khushi’s face, Khushi immediately recognizes the familiar presence of her parents. Overwhelmed, she clings tightly to Krishna from behind, deeply unsettled—not only by the close presence of her parents but also by the rising fear of Queenie’s ongoing conspiracy.
At this moment, Queenie notices her mother, Nandita, applying sindoor on the mangalsutra as part of a ritual. Aradhana and Queenie join in, following the same tradition. After completing their own ritual, Queenie turns toward Khushi and insists that she also perform the ritual by showing her mangalsutra. The color drains from Khushi’s face. She stands frozen, knowing she cannot produce the mangalsutra that she never wears.
Krishna tries his best to intervene and protect her from the mounting pressure. However, Queenie persists. The commotion draws Mamta’s attention as well, and she moves closer out of curiosity, wanting to witness the unfolding scene.
Finally, with everyone watching, Khushi fails to display her mangalsutra. The tension peaks in the temple as her silence exposes the truth she has been desperately trying to hide.
