The episode starts with Rannvijay coming out and asking Vaiju if this is her gift for him as he sees her planting . Vaiju tries to deny but he says that Shambhu has already informed him. Rannvijay questions Vaiju why she did not let him know. The latter says everyone brought such big and beautiful gifts for him so it would look bad. However Rannvijay says that it will good instead as everyone gets gifts with own understanding. Vaiju explains that she planted tree so that he gets good health and prosperity.
Rannvijay recalls Jaya saying him same. Vaiju says she cannot wrap the plant but gives a handful of soil to him to take care of. Vasundhara tells about all women of house keeping durgaasthami fast. Rannvijay tells Jaya not to fast but she says it’s for showing his love. Vasundhara says that this fast is important for husband and wife and difficult to keep. Vaiju looks at Rannvijay. Later in room , Vaiju sits with her marriage signs and thinks she will not back from her responsibilities. She decides to keep the fast. Vasundhara asks Vaiju why she woke up so early. Vaiju lies that she woke up because of all the noise.
Vasundhara tells that they will eat food served by their husband. Vaiju sees Ragini crying silently and follows her. She questions Ragini if she is fine. Ragini asks if she should keep fast or not. Vaiju tells that she can understand the pain of being married but not staying with her husband . She says that it should be Ragini’s decision whether she wants to keep fast or not. Sulekha says that she should keep it. But Vaiju objects it and asks Ragini to take the decision. Vaiju says that forced relationship can only give pain.
Sulekha taunts Vaiju saying that all her relationship broke so how she can understand meaning of keeping fast for husband. Rannvijay requests Sulekha to be quiet. Vasundhara agrees to Vaiju and tells Ragini to take her decision. Once everyone leaves, Vaiju comes to kitchen and takes some bit of food from leftovers touched by Rannvijay. Vaiju thinks she will never get position of wife but she has to do her responsibility. She recalls Rannvijay’s care in past few days for her and eats the leftovers. Tum hasi ban gye plays in the background as Vaiju cries while eating.
Rannvijay enters the kitchen and questions Vaiju why she is eating food of fast. He questions why she ate from Jaya’s leftovers. Vaiju tries to lie about it but Rannvijay says that he is sure she is hiding something from him. But before he can ask more, Arhaan comes there calling them for aarti. Ragini requests Vaiju to give her company and stand beside her. Rannvijay again confronts Vaiju and questions if she has kept fast for him. Vaiju reminds him that she will not demand anything from him but she has right to keep her responsibility. Kaveri comes there and sees Rannvijay talking to someone and assumes it’s Jaya but finds her inside room. The episode ends with Kaveri trying to look at whom Rannvijay is talking to.
