The episode starts with Vaiju saying that she has applied vermillion for Goddess Durga. She tells that in their village, unmarried girls keep fast for DurgaAsthami and get ready like married ones. She states that they put on vermillion for Goddess. Sulekha claps and mocks Vaiju. Jaya tells that this is true and this tradition has been followed in village for long. Vasundhara asks Sulekha to stop her taunts as all need to break their fast. She also says that it’s Vaiju right to fast and pray. Jaya and Rannvijay support Vaiju keeping the fast too.
Rannvijay keeps looking at Vaiju. Later, Jaya asks Rannvijay if he will feed her with his own hands and he obliges. Vaiju looks on. Suddenly there is a power cut and in darkness, instead of Jaya Rannvijay ends up feeding Jaya. Vaiju touches Rannvijay’s feet to seek blessings . Once electricity returns, Rannvijay is surprised to see Vaiju infront of him. Jaya comes there and says that thank god electricity is back. She asks Rannvijay to feed her as she hungry. He feeds Jaya and Vaiju stands in a side as she and Rannvijay keep stealing looks at each other.
Rannvijay confronts Vaiju and questions what she is doing and why she ate from Jaya’s leftovers and then from his hands. He says that it was better that he would have died with Jaktab’s bullet. He tells that he is tired of living the double faced life. Vaiju says that she is trying her best and he is one who has given her this right. She reminds him that she cannot forget her responsibilities. Vaiju tells him that she is always scared of Jaya finding about their relationship. Rannvijay also says that unknowingly he has been hurting Jaya.
Jaya gets call from her college friends and tells that she is enjoying her married phase. Her friend states that she has got her dream job and questions Jaya about her career plans. Jaya is left speechless as her friend encourages her to start her career again and be ambitious. Jaya thanks her friend for reminding her about it and thinks of Vaiju encouraging Ragini for playing music after her marriage again. She also recalls Vasundhara saying the same to Ragini. Rannvijay comes there and Jaya asks him if he remembers her friend and she got her dream job.
Jaya tells that she wants to think of her job and career too. She advises that their whole family should shift to Mumbai. Rannvijay doesn’t like the idea about shifting. Jaya says that they can better opportunities in the city. Rannvijay argues with her and says that he thought she wanted to stay at village. Jaya also argues back and asks Rannvijay to atleast talk to his family once. Rannvijay says that his family will stay at village only and asks Jaya to make her decision. Vaiju is shown listening to their argument. The episode ends with Rannvijay and Vaiju feeling upset about their argument while Vaiju thinks to help them sort out.
