The episode starts with Dheeraj going to meet Mahadev. Just then, Ketan arrives and asks him about the delivery. Mahadev starts scolding Ketan for not having proper concentration. Ketan leaves. Mahadev questions Dheeraj for not going to college. He also says that he is aware Dheeraj came here for college fees, so he asks for his marks. After hearing Dheeraj’s marks, Mahadev scolds him. He also orders Dheeraj to work in the company to get his college fees. Dheeraj gets upset, but he starts working in the factory by lifting weights. Mahadev looks proud. Rajji, who is going past the factory, takes Dheeraj’s photos and posts them in the college group. Dheeraj argues with her. Rajji teases him, then leaves.
Here, Mahadev sees Ketan receiving a call from a person named Narmada, so he questions him. A nervous Ketan lies, saying Narmada is one of their customers. So Mahadev asks him to speak to the customer. Ketan obliges. He calls Narmada. The latter disconnects the call upon hearing Mahadev’s voice, so Ketan gives an excuse of a network issue. He also stays back in the factory when Mahadev leaves for the bank.
Afterward, Dheeraj sees Ketan stealing money from the factory, so he warns him. But Ketan defends his actions, saying Mahadev will not know about this because he is handling the accounts. He then asks Dheeraj to stay at the factory while he goes to meet Narmada.
Ketan meets Narmada and gives her a gift for their anniversary. Narmada refuses to accept the gift at first, but she eventually agrees to keep it. She then asks Ketan when he is going to tell his family about their love and also about the government job he needs so that he can marry her. She further says that her family members are searching for a guy to marry her off. Ketan tells her that he has to talk to his father at the right time to accept their relationship. Narmada gets upset and argues with him. After getting off the bus, Ketan is shocked to see Mahadev there, so he turns away. Narmada also gets worried. Mahadev sees Ketan, calls him, and asks him about the new customer’s order. Ketan lies to Mahadev that Dheeraj sent him there for Sharma Ji’s order. Mahadev gets confused. He scolds Ketan and leaves with him.
At night, Vidya checks the accounts and says eight thousand rupees are missing, so Mahadev calls Ketan to check. Ketan lies. Just then, Dheeraj arrives. Mahadev slaps Dheeraj and accuses him of stealing money. Dheeraj requests his father to believe him that he didn’t do anything of the sort, but Mahadev refuses to believe him. He insults Dheeraj. Satya comes between Dheeraj and Mahadev when Mahadev tries to hit Dheeraj again. An angry Mahadev then slaps Satya and blames him for Dheeraj’s actions. He also asks Satya why he is staying with him. Satya gets hurt, but he tells Mahadev that he considers Vidya and Mahadev his parents. Mahadev becomes speechless. Vidya tries to take Dheeraj’s side, but an angry Mahadev warns Vidya that Dheeraj is going to ruin his name and reputation in society for sure, then leaves.
Later, Ketan apologizes to Dheeraj, who tries to beat him. Ashish learns of Ketan’s crime, so he demands that Ketan confess it to Mahadev, but Dheeraj intervenes and says it’s not necessary. So Ashish scolds Dheeraj. Vidya arrives and takes Dheeraj away. They have a conversation about what happened. Dheeraj expresses his pain to Vidya but also requests that she not tell Mahadev about Ketan’s actions because Mahadev trusts Ketan and Ashish. If he learns the truth, he will be heartbroken. Vidya gets emotional.
Precap: Bhanu enters Mahadev’s house with Yash and Rajji. She shows a love letter to Mahadev and accuses Mahadev’s son of giving the letter to Rajji. She also vows not to spare his son if history repeats.
Our take: Today’s episode highlights Dheeraj’s love and care for his family, especially for his father Mahadev, by taking the blame upon himself for Ketan’s actions. In contrast, Ketan comes of as a selfish person who can throw anyone under the bus to fulfill his selfish motives.
