The episode starts with Ketan, who, following Mahadev’s instructions, gets lost in his thoughts, recalling Narmada’s words. Mahadev notices this and mocks Ketan. Dheeraj answers Mahadev’s mathematical questions, so the latter mocks him too. Dheeraj gets sad. Vidya intervenes and says Ketan must be hungry. Mahadev says after Ashish’s return, they will have dinner. Just then, Ashish enters the home in a drunken state. He falls to the ground, so both Ketan and Mahadev rush to help him. They both get worried about Ashish’s next move, seeing his state. Seeing Ashish’s condition, Bhanu, Yash, and Vishwa get happy. Yash instructs Vishwa to make sure Ashish gets addicted to alcohol. Vishwa obliges. Bhanu says that she can’t wait to see Mahadev’s downfall.
Dheeraj asks Ashish not to speak, promising to manage everything. He then takes Ashish inside with Ketan’s help. Mahadev gets furious and orders both Dheeraj and Ketan to leave Ashish. Dheeraj hesitates but eventually obliges. Ashish approaches Mahadev, who repeatedly slaps him. Everyone is shocked and worried. Mahadev questions Ashish about his drunken state. Vidya intervenes, pleading with Mahadev to wait until the next morning to learn the reason behind Ashish’s actions. Mahadev lashes out at Ashish, who blabbers, prompting Mahadev to question him further. Dheeraj intervenes and lies to Mahadev, saying that Ashish is heartbroken because his superior didn’t give him the promotion he deserved. Mahadev advises Ashish, calling him his pride. Vidya instructs Priya and Satya to take care of Mahadev and escort him inside.
After Mahadev goes inside, Vidya confronts Ashish for returning home in a drunken state because of a girl and not caring about his family, who loves and cares for him. Ketan is shocked and looks at Dheeraj, who signals to him that Vidya knows about Ashish’s love. Vidya breaks down in front of her sons, pleading with them not to hurt and break Mahadev with their actions because he loves all three of them a lot. Their single action will completely break Mahadev. Both Dheeraj and Ketan hug her in a comforting way while Ashish falls unconscious in Vidya’s lap.
At Bajpai’s house, Rajji has the halwa prepared by Bhanu. Bhanu emotionally manipulates Rajji, saying that she doesn’t have anyone in her life because of Vidya and Mahadev. So Rajji tells Bhanu that she will definitely help her succeed in her mission. Bhanu asks Rajji to keep an eye on Dheeraj, who is the Akbar of Mahadev’s family. Rajji obliges. Bhanu hides her smirk.
The next day, Kammu comes to Mahadev’s house with Pinky. Mahadev questions Kammu’s plan to send Pinky to preschool. Kammu defends her decision and asks Mahadev for money for Pinky’s school fees. Mahadev agrees. Witnessing this interaction, Dheeraj advises Ketan to seek Kammu’s help. Later, they both take Kammu aside and try to convince her to help Ketan. But Kammu firmly refuses and advises Ketan not to listen to Dheeraj, then leaves. Ketan receives continuous calls from Narmada. He gets upset and sad. He says that he doesn’t deserve to show his face to Narmada, then leaves. Dheeraj looks at the photos of God and says that Ketan doesn’t know that if God closes one door, he will open another. He then gets determined to speak to Narmada’s family on Mahadev’s behalf.
Precap: Dheeraj meets Narmada’s father, Sunny, and requests him to accept Ketan and Narmada’s love. After Dheeraj leaves, Bhanu meets Sunny and manipulates him against Mahadev’s family, emerging with a victorious smile.
Our take: It’s heartbreaking to see Dheeraj because of Mahadev’s lack of trust in him and his constant criticism and comparison with his other two sons. Bhanu’s manipulation reaches a dangerous level as she plans to use Rajji to avenge Mahadev and his family.
