The episode starts with Vidya demanding Dheeraj to follow his father’s principles. She asks Dheeraj to make a promise. Dheeraj tells her and Mahadev that he loves and respects them a lot, but he says if they continue to oblige and follow their principles, then they will have to depend on them for their entire life. He then asks Mahadev and Vidya whether they would go back in time to break their marriage. Mahadev gets shocked. Vidya gets furious, so she expresses her disappointment towards Dheeraj and accuses him of spoiling his brothers. She further insults Dheeraj. Dheeraj gets hurt, so he leaves from there.
Afterward, Satya confronts Dheeraj about his behavior towards Mahadev. He also points out that Ketan has agreed to Mahadev’s condition, so why is he doing all this? Dheeraj defends himself, saying that he is following his father’s advice. Also, Ketan has agreed to Mahadev’s condition only because he is scared of him. Satya shares with Dheeraj the sufferings both Mahadev and Vidya have gone through to keep their family united, that too with a smile. Dheeraj gets teary-eyed.
At Saini’s house, Narmada’s mother asks her husband what Mahadev told him during their conversation. He refuses to tell her and Narmada anything, but he takes Narmada’s phone from her and tells Narmada and her mother that Narmada will go to the office with him from now on. He also states that Narmada will not have access to her phone until she gets married, then he leaves. Narmada is shocked.
Back at Mahadev’s house, Vidya prays to God to make everything right in her family. She asks God what’s happening to her family. Just then, Dheeraj arrives and asks Vidya if she would have helped him if he had informed her about Ketan’s love. Vidya remains silent. Dheeraj expresses his helplessness to help his brothers. He tells her that he doesn’t want Ketan to become like Ashish. He further says both Ketan and Narmada love each other. Vidya cries and says that he made a mistake by going to Narmada’s house with a marriage proposal without their knowledge. Dheeraj apologizes to her. He also tells her that he wants to apologize to Mahadev. Vidya puts her hand on Dheeraj in a comforting way.
On the other side, Mahadev sees Rajji on the road with her scooter. He learns from her that Rajji’s scooter broke down and its battery is dead. Mahadev tries to help her, but when he realizes he can’t help her with the scooter, he insists on dropping her home. Rajji hesitates, but she accepts his help. Mahadev drops her home and advises her. He also gets upset with Bhanu for his lack of care for Rajji. Dheeraj comes in front of Mahadev, but the latter ignores him. Rajji sees this, so she starts mocking Dheeraj. Dheeraj argues with her. Later that night, Dheeraj asks Ketan what he is going to tell Narmada, while Narmada takes her parents’ phone without their knowledge and contacts Ketan. She demands his decision. Ketan asks her to forget him. Narmada is shocked. Both Ketan and Narmada get sad recalling the moments they spent together.
Precap: Dheeraj questions Ketan, but the latter hits him. Narmada arrives there and demands an answer from Ketan. Ketan remains silent.
Our take: Dheeraj’s bold move of questioning his parents for forcing them to follow their rules, even though they themselves loved each other and got married, is commendable. Vidya’s blind support for Mahadev is not helping her sons, who are in pain. Both Mahadev and Vidya should think about their sons’ feelings and act accordingly.
