The episode starts with Bhanu’s harsh comment against Mahadev, which infuriates Radha, so the latter threatens to slap her. But Bhanu mocks the situation and tells Mahadev that Vidya will betray him one day for sure, and that day he should commit suicide. She further says that Vidya and his three sons will definitely betray him. Mahadev stops Bhanu. He threatens Bhanu not to spare her if she says anything against his wife, Vidya. He also says that his son’s marriage is a family matter in which outsiders shouldn’t interfere. He thanks Bhanu for bringing musicians to welcome the newlyweds, then he does aarti for them and leaves. Bhanu also goes inside.
After entering the house, Mahadev stumbles. Vidya gets worried. Dheeraj insists both Ketan and Narmada enter the house, but Mahadev stops them. Ketan apologizes to Mahadev and says he has no other option. Mahadev tells Ketan that he has broken him. Ketan pleads with Mahadev to forgive him, saying that he has no other option but to marry Narmada because they both love each other. Vidya rebukes Ketan and says that he has pretended all this time to keep the promise he made to Mahadev. Narmada addresses Vidya as “Maa” and says that she is equally wrong in this. Vidya asks her to shut up, saying she doesn’t deserve to call her “Maa” because she didn’t earn it.
Ketan pleads with Mahadev to forgive him. Mahadev questions Ketan’s decision to elope with Narmada. He recalls Dheeraj is with them, so he confronts Dheeraj about his involvement in Ketan and Narmada’s marriage. Dheeraj admits that he helped them both. He defends himself, saying both Ketan and Narmada love each other and cannot live without each other. As a brother, he doesn’t want to see his brother in pain. Mahadev laughs mockingly. He takes control of the situation. Dheeraj reminds Mahadev about his marriage to Vidya, which went against Vidya’s father’s wishes. He says that at that time, no one was with Mahadev to support him, but for Ketan, he is with him. Vidya repeatedly slaps Dheeraj. She regrets defending his actions in front of Mahadev whenever he committed a mistake. Mahadev comforts Vidya, asking her not to hold herself accountable for Dheeraj’s actions. He also says the one wrong thing Vidya has done is giving birth to Dheeraj. Everyone is shocked. Dheeraj gets hurt.
Mahadev tells Dheeraj that they are tired of punishing him, so he has to leave the house. The entire family is shocked. Narmada recalls Dheeraj’s words and cries profusely. Dheeraj pleads with Mahadev to change his decision, but the latter throws him out of the house and disowns him. Ketan requests Mahadev not to oust Dheeraj from the house and says he will take Narmada back to her house. Mahadev is shocked and furious. He severely criticizes Ketan. He also tells Narmada that he pities her for marrying Ketan, who can’t take a stand. He asks both Ketan and Narmada to stay with them as tenants and goes inside. Watching this, Bhanu foresees the inevitable downfall of Mahadev’s entire family. She expresses her happiness to Yash and Rajji. Meanwhile, both Dheeraj and Mahadev have a breakdown.
Precap: Dheeraj tells Rajji that Bhanu has earned an enemy named Dheeraj, not Dheeraj Mahadev. He vows not to spare Bhanu.
Our take: Mahadev and Vidya, as parents, are deeply hurt and disappointed with Ketan and Dheeraj. However, they are both equally selfish, not caring about their sons’ feelings and not understanding that what Dheeraj is saying is the truth. Vidya is a wonderful wife who supports her husband, but she is also a selfish mother who knows her son Ashish’s painful past, yet she refuses to support Ketan.
What will Rajji do now? Will Mahadev learn about Dheeraj’s determination to avenge Bhanu?
