The episode starts with Dheeraj sleeping on the shop’s bench, hoping Mahadev will take him back home. Meanwhile, Narmada expresses her worries about Dheeraj to Ketan. She feels bad for him. Ketan asks her not to worry, saying he will do something. Afterwards, Narmada comes out. Mahadev asks her the reason. Narmada says that she wants water. Mahadev takes the water, so Narmada goes to him, saying she will do it. Narmada apologizes to Mahadev for her and Ketan’s decision, saying they have no other option. She also thanks him for giving her shelter. She hopes Mahadev and Vidya will give her a chance to make everything right. She further says that she never got a chance to speak with her father from her heart, but with him, she is able to do that because for some reason she isn’t afraid of him. Mahadev drops the glass from his hand. Just then, they both hear Ramesh screaming Mahadev’s name and demanding him to come out.
Bhanu tells Yash that they shouldn’t miss any opportunity, seeing Ramesh and Vimla standing outside Mahadev’s house. Mahadev comes out, followed by his family members. Ramesh confronts Mahadev for failing to fulfill the promise he made to him. He starts insulting Mahadev. Vidya intervenes and says that they are equally upset with Ketan and Narmada’s wedding, requesting him to go inside so they can talk about it. But Ramesh insults her, saying even his expensive shoes won’t enter the house. Ashish and Satya ask Ramesh to speak respectfully, but Ramesh refuses and continues his insults towards Mahadev. Kamatchi loses her cool and asks Ramesh if his daughter Narmada is a small child. She also says that Narmada is equally wrong in this, so he shouldn’t blame them. Mahadev orders Kamatchi to keep her mouth shut. Kamatchi obliges but gets upset.
Vimla taunts Narmada, noticing the nuptial chain the latter is wearing. Narmada defends her actions, saying that she has tried to make them understand that she can’t live without Ketan, but they didn’t understand her. Also, they locked her inside the house. Ramesh tells her that he should have killed her instead of locking her in the house. Narmada cries badly. Ramesh again continues his insults toward Mahadev for trapping Narmada using his son. So Kamatchi misbehaves with him in the name of defending Mahadev. Mahadev asks her to be silent.
Narmada takes a firm stand for Mahadev and his family against Ramesh’s insult, especially when he brings up Mahadev’s marriage with Vidya, claiming that Mahadev has failed to make a name for himself even after marrying a daughter of the Bajpai family. Ramesh decides to trap his daughter using his son to gain a name, but he earns an enemy instead. He also raises his hand at Narmada for speaking against him, but Mahadev stops Ramesh and says that in his house, women are considered goddesses like Lakshmi, so they should be respected. Ramesh gets furious. He vows not to spare Mahadev, then leaves.
Afterward, Bhanu mocks and insults Mahadev, but the latter goes silently inside his house, followed by his family members. He asks his family members to go to their respective rooms because he doesn’t have any energy left. Everyone gets sad. Later, Narmada has a breakdown recalling her parents’ words. Ketan comforts her. Narmada says that she is happy to have Mahadev in her life as a father figure and Dheeraj as a brother figure. She then worries about Dheeraj, so she starts preparing dinner for him. She also orders Ketan to find Dheeraj. Ketan hesitates, but agrees to Narmada. After that, Kamatchi taunts Narmada for planning to have food when the entire family is hungry. Narmada gets shocked.
