The episode starts with Maitree coming out of her house with her luggage. Ashish offers help to put her suitcase in the car but Maitree refuses to take his help. Maitree fails to put it in the car and asks Ashish to help her. Ashish helps her. Someone takes their photos. Maitree slips. Ashish holds her. Maitree’s parents and brother come out. They ask Maitree to return home soon. Maitree feels like someone is taking photos. Ashish says she can stay at her place if she doesn’t want to come. Maitree says it’s not that way and goes with Ashish.

Maitree and Ashish return home. They hear Nandish crying badly. Maitree takes the baby. Kusum says don’t know why he is crying. Maitree says he can’t sleep until he hears lohri. She makes him calm singing lohri. Ashish says he will keep her luggage in her room. Maitree and Sona ask him to not keep luggage in Saransh’s room. Ashish asks her to stay in his room and says he will stay with Nandish. Maitree agrees. Later Maitree teaches Ashidh how to handle the baby. Someone clicks their baby. Maitree says Nandish won’t sleep for the next 2hours. Ashish asks her to sleep as she needs to meet the Bank manager for a loan and they need to take the baby for vaccination. Maitree asks him to stop showing fake care. She asks him to go and sleep. Ashish leaves.

The next day Sona feeds food to the baby. Nandish coughs. Maitree takes the baby. Ashish comes there and says they are getting late. They take the baby. Sona looks angry. Kusum asks Sona to not call Nandish your son as he is not. Maitree asks Ashish to place ice on Nandish’s vaccination spot and says she will meet the bank manager. Kusum says the baby is comfortable with Maitree and not with us. Sona gets emotional and asks why they are differentiating her. Kusum and Om explain to her that they need to accept the baby’s identity. Sona looks on.

Maitree requests the Bank manager to grant her a loan. The Bank manager says he needs a guarantor to grant her a loan. Ashish asks him to take his bank statement. Maitree refuses to take his help. The Bank manager asks Maitree to take her husband’s help and mocks why she wants to work letting her husband take care of baby. Someone records it. Maitree clears they are not husband and wife. Ashish argues with him for his low thinking.

The Bank manager refuses to grant the loan. Ashish and Maitree say they will get a loan from another bank. Maitree challenges the bank manager that she will achieve her dreams and prove him wrong. Outside, Maitree asks how can Bank Manager says I can’t do it. Ashish says you can do it. He advises her to concentrate on her career leaving Nandish’s responsibility. Maitree says she can handle both.
