Maitree 28th August 2023 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Kusum making Jhumki wear the anklets. Kusum tells Jhumki that it’s a ritual and do not go out of the house after this ritual until her marriage is completed. Jhumki agrees. Maitree tells Jhumki that she wants to be part of her happiness. Jhumki warns her to not conspire to stop the marriage. Harsh says Maitree can’t stop their marriage. Jhumki smiles. Maitree sneakily tries to cut Jhumki’s hair. Harsh notices it. Maitree drops the scissors by mistake. Harsh helps Maitree by kicking scissors to Maitree’s side. Jhumki turns to Maitree’s side. Maitree hides scissors from Jhumki.
Nandini takes Jhumki to the room. She puts jewellery on her and praises her look. Kusum calls Nandini to come downstairs. Nandini leaves. Harsh enters the room. He praises Jhumki’s beauty. He makes her wear the chunri on the head and collects her hair. Maitree witnesses it in happiness. Jhumki asks Harsh to not betray her again. Harsh says he won’t. Jhumki sees Maitree outside her room. She holds Harsh’s hand and tells her that she can’t separate Harsh from her. Harsh gives Jhumki’s hair to Maitree without Jhumki’s knowledge.
Maitree places Jhumki’s hair safely. She thinks Jhumki’s game will end once she gets Jhumki’s snake skin. Midnight Maitree comes to the storage room to get Jhumki’s Kechli. Jhumki feels suspicious and comes near the store room. Harsh comes there and takes Jhumki with him.
Maitree finds Jhumki’s snake skin and takes it. Jhumki comes in her snake form to the storage room. Maitree sees Jhumki and says to Jhumki that she knows Jhumki will never allow her to get to anything that can be used against Jhumki. Maitree says to Jhumki that she came fully prepared this time. Maitree releases a mongoose towards Jhumki. Snake and Mongoose get into a scuffle. Mongoose overpowers Snake. Maitree thinks tomorrow Yajna will end the game of Jhumki.
Maitree meets Harsh and tells him that she has succeeded in getting Jhumki’s snake skin. She tells him that tomorrow they need to keep away their family members from the house. Harsh agrees.
Harsh comes downstairs. Jhumki sees him and asks if he is not getting sleep. She says I know that you’re tense to marry a snake but I’m promising you that I will become a best wife. She says she is waiting for tomorrow. Harsh sees Maitree and says he is also waiting for tomorrow.
The next day, Maitree gives juice to everyone. She asks Pandit to drink the juice but Pandit says he can’t drink anything until the marriage gets completed. Harsh and Jhumki come downstairs. Everyone praises their jodi. Pandit asks Harsh and Jhumki to sit in the mandap. Jhumki tells Maitree that she can’t stop her from turning Harsh a snake after their marriage. Maitree gives Harsh hand and house keys to Jhumki. She requests Jhumki to not harm her family.
Episode ends.
Precap – Maitree is about to leave the house. Jhumki stops Maitree and threatens to kill everyone if she again conspires against her.
