The episode starts with Sowmya’s words scaring Kusum about Sudesh’s condition. Adit tells Sowmya to leave, saying, “Your words are scaring Mom.” Sowmya replies that she is scared by Papa’s unconscious state. Adit advises her to pray for Sudesh’s well-being. As Sowmya leaves, she thinks to herself, “I want Papa to lose his mind completely.”
The next day, the doctor checks Sudesh, who slowly regains consciousness. The doctor asks if he can recognize his family. Sudesh identifies Adit and Kusum. Sowmya is shocked. Adit says, “I want you to meet your daughter-in-law.” Sudesh takes Mangal’s name. Mangal feels elated that Sudesh remembered her. Kusum tells Adit, “Sudesh is talking and recognizing people!”
The doctor says, “I didn’t expect Sudesh to recover this quickly. Did you do anything unusual in the past two days?” Mangal explains how they executed a plan to help Sudesh regain his memory. The doctor scolds them for taking a risk but admits, “Whatever you did worked. He’s speaking because of your efforts.”
He adds, “Sudesh is recovering, but he still needs time. A trusted person should stay with him—and that should be your daughter-in-law. Isn’t that right, Mr. Sudesh?” Mangal is about to clarify that she is no longer their daughter-in-law, but Kusum stops her and says, “You are our daughter-in-law. Didn’t you see how Sudesh called you by name?”
Sudesh extends his hand toward Mangal, and she happily holds it. Adit tells Sudesh, “Sowmya is here too.” Sowmya becomes uneasy. The doctor advises them not to stress Sudesh any further. The kids arrive and are delighted to see that Sudesh is recovering. Sowmya quietly leaves.
Outside, the doctor praises Mangal for her efforts. Adit asks the doctor if they can take Sudesh back to the accident spot to help trigger more memories. The doctor replies, “He’s already been triggered once. It’s not advisable to repeat it. Take one step at a time and keep the environment peaceful.” Mangal says, “I’m no longer Adit’s wife. Maybe we should tell Sudesh the truth.” The doctor advises against it for now. Adit escorts the doctor out.
Sowmya approaches Mangal and mocks her, saying she’s trying to take her place in the house. Mangal firmly rebukes her and says, “Kusum and Sudesh are my parents too—you’ll never understand that.”
Meanwhile, at the office, Kapil worries about Mangal. He talks to himself. Pratima arrives with food and asks if he’s worried about Mangal. She advises him to go see her, but Kapil says it wouldn’t be appropriate. He then receives a call from the doctor, who informs him that Sudesh is recovering. Kapil says, “That’s a big relief for Mangal,” and happily starts eating. Pratima watches and thinks, “Why doesn’t Kapil understand that he loves Mangal?”
Later, Mangal asks Kusum to taste the food she prepared. Kusum gives her feedback and says, “I acted normally with you in front of Sudesh Ji, but I haven’t forgotten—you’re responsible for his condition.” Mangal tries to say she didn’t do anything. Kusum refuses to listen to her. She asks Mangal to not do anymore mistakes. She says she will make Sudesh eat soup and I will bring Sudesh to pooja. She leaves. Mangal says one day you will bless me once my name gets cleared.
