The episode begins with another inspector asking Inspector what about the food that was adulterated at today’s pre-engagement ceremony. Lakshmi arrives and declares that she will prove Mangal’s innocence. Mangal hugs Lakshmi, who then shows a video to the inspector revealing that it was Munni who spoiled the paneer. The video, which Ishana gave to Lakshmi, was recorded by Akshat as proof of Mangal’s innocence. The inspector apologizes to Mangal for the misunderstanding and assures her that no case will be filed against her. He even jokes, asking Mangal to prepare more halwa for them next time. Mangal smiles and tells Adit that she doesn’t need his help to prove her innocence because her family is by her side. She then leaves with Lakshmi.
Sowmya calls Adit and asks if he is still at the station. Adit confirms, and she reminds him of their decision not to bail out Mangal. Adit explains that it’s unnecessary now, as Mangal has proven her innocence and the real culprit is Munni, whom the police are going to arrest. Shocked, Sowmya ends the call and quickly tries to warn Munni. However, Munni cuts her off, scolds her, and declares that she will confess the truth to Mangal, then hangs up. Sowmya fears the worst.
Meanwhile, Lipika and her fiancé are taking photos with Karthik. Vrinda pulls her son aside, concerned that the muhurta time has already passed and wondering why Mangal hasn’t arrived yet. Overhearing this, Shanti asks Kusum if Mangal will come. Kusum says they need to distract everyone and walks away.
Ishana and Akshat start dancing on stage. Kusum remarks to Vrinda that her grandchild dances well. Vrinda’s son encourages her to enjoy the performance. Kusum confides in Shanti that they can’t delay Vrinda much longer, as she’s already upset. After the dance, Vrinda confronts Shanti, asking where Mangal, Adit, and Lakshmi have gone. Just then, Lakshmi announces their arrival, and Mangal, Adit, and Lakshmi enter. The kids rush to hug Mangal, who greets Vrinda. Vrinda, suspicious, remarks that Mangal doesn’t seem to have been stuck in traffic. Adit prompts Mangal to reveal the truth to everyone, even offering to do it himself if she can’t. He then misleadingly tells Vrinda a fabricated story, playing into her suspicions. Kusum urges Mangal to get ready quickly. Mangal thinks to herself that she understands her mother’s disappointment, but she has responsibilities to fulfill. As Mangal is about to leave, Adit stops her, demanding thanks for “saving” her, but she rebukes him, and he does the same in return. Unfazed, Mangal walks away.
Munni sneaks into the function, covered in a shawl, intending to find Mangal and confess the truth. Lakshmi offers to help Mangal get ready, and Mangal thanks her for always supporting her. Lakshmi reassures Mangal, who expresses worry over Kusum’s disappointment. Lakshmi encourages Mangal, saying she’s proud of her for trying to handle her responsibilities, and asks why she needed the money. Just as Munni tries to enter Mangal’s room, Sowmya intercepts her and pulls her aside.
Sowmya offers Munni 1 lakh to keep her name out of the police investigation. Munni fears imprisonment, but Sowmya assures her she’ll be released soon and gives her the choice of informing Mangal if she wants. Munni reluctantly agrees.
As Mangal finishes getting ready, Lakshmi asks her why she suddenly needed money. Mangal explains that Adit didn’t paid school fees and she couldn’t pay the kids’ school fees because her card was blocked. Outraged, Lakshmi suspects Adit blocked it just to trouble Mangal and says she will confront him. Overhearing them, Sowmya makes a noise outside, alerting Lakshmi and Mangal.
