The episode starts with Mangal asking her boss if he is canceling her order because of Adit’s behavior. The boss replies that it’s not like that. Mangal tells him to put himself in Adit’s place, reminding him that Adit has worked for this company for 15 years and that his behavior yesterday was due to shock. She expresses her disappointment in him and thanks him for the opportunity before leaving. Walking down the road, Mangal worries about how to tell Kusum that she lost her work.
Meanwhile, Kusum brings food to Adit. Adit asks why she did so. Kusum explains that the delivery boy didn’t come, so Mangal went to deliver the food herself. She praises Mangal and encourages Adit to eat. Kusum then calls Mangal and asks if she has reached the office. Mangal lies, saying she is delivering tiffins to everyone. Kusum asks her to bring Adit’s medicines on her way back. Mangal reluctantly agrees and cries.
Mangal then goes to a street food area, where street vendors mistakenly believe she has come to sell food in their territory. Mangal clarifies that they are misunderstanding her and leaves. Meanwhile, Sowmya hires a caretaker for Adit. Kusum questions her decision, arguing that Mangal can take care of Adit and that they cannot afford a nurse at the moment. Sowmya insists she will pay for the nurse, saying that Adit is not comfortable with Mangal. She adds that they both want Adit to recover, so Kusum should agree. Kusum remains skeptical about hiring an unknown caretaker. Sowmya, irritated, tells her to stop doubting everything and states that Adit trusts her more than Mangal.
Later, Sowmya talks to her friends and says she is coming to the movie right away.
At the bus stop, Mangal wonders how she will tell her family about losing her job. She notices a group of tourists struggling because their caterer hasn’t delivered their food. A bus driver asks if there is a nearby hotel. Mangal offers her food, saying that her original order was canceled. The bus driver tastes it and decides to buy all of it from her.
Meanwhile, the nurse secretly calls her accomplices and informs them that Adit’s house has only two elderly people and one man in a wheelchair, making it an easy target for robbery.
The robbers break into Adit’s house. Sudesh notices them and shouts for help, but the robbers tie him up. Kusum also sees them and shouts, but she, too, gets tied up. Adit senses that he heard Kusum’s voice and calls for the nurse. When he tries to leave his room in his wheelchair, the nurse stops him and locks him inside. Determined, Adit uses a trophy to break the lock and calls Mangal after seeing the robbers.
Adit attempts to talk to Mangal on the phone, but the robbers snatch it away and throw it aside.
Meanwhile, Karthik expresses to Jia how much he missed her, and Lakshmi witnesses everything. Karthik, noticing her, says he didn’t see her there. He then asks since when she started wearing sarees and compliments her look. Gayatri worries about Lakshmi revealing the truth and quickly sends Karthik and Jia to their room.
Later, Gayatri calls for Lakshmi. Lakshmi, in shock, thinks she is dreaming and slaps herself to snap out of it. Gayatri tells her that this is not a dream.
Lakshmi tries to go to Karthik, but Gayatri stops her.
Gayatri then reveals that Karthik has lost his memory and warns Lakshmi not to disclose anything to him, as it could worsen his condition. She tells Lakshmi that, for now, they must accept that Jia is the woman Karthik loves. Lakshmi questions how they can trust Jia when she once tried to kill Karthik. Gayatri admits they have no choice and says everyone must be careful.
Sanjana asks Gayatri what their next step should be, as Lakshmi is still staying in the house. Gayatri instructs Lakshmi to wipe off her sindoor and remove her mangalsutra, explaining that if Karthik sees them, he will ask questions. She urges Lakshmi to do it for Karthik’s sake. Lakshmi remains silent.
Feeling helpless, Lakshmi reflects on her situation. She then sees Jia near her car, confronts her, and blames her for Karthik’s condition. Jia makes a remark in response.
