The episode starts with Adit telling the receptionist that he wants to meet the lady who came to the investor bazaar as Kail’s representative. The receptionist says it’s difficult, as ma’am will be busy too. Adit requests her for one last chance. He then calls Sowmya and updates her about the situation.
An employee on a call informs Mangal that someone has come to meet her. Kapil says it seems like the same person has returned. Mangal tells Kapil that it’s good to give someone a second chance. Kapil then asks her to decide whether she wants to wear a uniform or formal attire. She replies that she isn’t sure. Meanwhile, Adit waits for Susheela impatiently.
Kusum buys a saree for Pratima and chunri for Gauri Maa. She tries to pay with her card, but the transaction is declined. Another lady in the shop tells Kusum to step aside if she can’t pay quickly. Kusum says she will pay in a while and calls Adit.
Mangal enters the room and finds no one there. At the same time, Adit leaves the office in a hurry while talking to Kusum, assuring her that he is on his way. Mangal asks the receptionist who was waiting to meet her. The receptionist says the person pleaded a lot to meet her but left just when it was time for the meeting. Mangal asks who it was. The receptionist is about to say Adit’s name but stops due to Kapil’s interruption. Kapil tells Mangal, “You wanted to give this person another chance, but he didn’t use it wisely.” Mangal replies, “He was just one minute late. I don’t know why he left.” Kapil says, “He’s an egoist. Consider this a life lesson—not to waste time on such people.” Mangal says she still has a lot to learn about business. Kapil adds, “You need to stay here until our branch gets approval in Delhi.” Mangal says she can’t wait that long.
Kusum calls Sowmya and says her cards aren’t working. She asks her to contact the bank and find out what happened. Sowmya replies, “I blocked your cards. I’m handling everything, and I’m the only one earning in the family. I can’t afford unnecessary expenses.” Sowmya is busy with a manicure session while talking. Kusum, tearfully, says she just wanted to gift a saree to the person who invited her to the Gowri Pooja. Sowmya tells her to give a box of sweets instead, saying that’s enough. Kusum then returns the saree and chunri to the shopkeeper and leaves.
Mangal visits the same shop and likes the same chunri. The shopkeeper tells her an old lady had liked it earlier, but her daughter-in-law didn’t give her money. Mangal purchases the saree and chunri and sends them to Kusum through a shop attendant. The attendant tells Kusum that a lady sent them for her, saying she reminded her of her mother. Kusum decides to thank her. Mangal leaves after buying the chunri.
Adit finds Kusum and says he searched the entire market for her. Kusum says she wants to thank the girl. Adit sees no one around and asks why she came alone. Kusum explains, “I didn’t know Sowmya had blocked my cards. Otherwise, I would’ve never come to the market to buy anything.” She shows him the chunri for Gowri Maa and the saree for Pratima. Adit says, “I told you we aren’t going to Pratima’s function. Because of your shopping, I left the office—and I don’t think I’ll get another chance from them.”
Mangal looks at the gifts her employees gave her. She imagines Kusum encouraging her to get ready, with children calling her pretty. Mangal snaps out of her imagination and realizes she was picturing Kusum and her kids. She deeply misses them and thinks to herself how hard it is to live without them.
