The episode starts with Kapil feeling happy upon seeing Mangal. Kapil tells his mother that Mangal has come. Adit notices this and decides to move closer to hear what is happening. Kapil tells Mangal that he has been wanting to talk to her since yesterday to explain what happened. He asks her to sit and says he wants to tell her everything, adding that he knows she will understand.
Mangal says she has made a decision and came to tell him about it. Kapil requests Mangal to decide only after listening to him. He pleads with her not to make a decision without hearing his side. Adit thinks Kapil is pretending to apologize, and notices that Mangal is softening too. He leaves.
Kapil tells Mangal that everything is a misunderstanding. Mangal replies that her daughter matters to her the most. She reminds him that her children are everything to her and she is living only for them; she cannot bear to see them in pain. Kapil tries to say something, but Mangal interrupts, saying Ishana hates him and she will start hating her (Mangal) too. Mangal firmly says she has made her decision. She removes her engagement ring and places it on the table.
Kapil says, “You are calling off the engagement, but I won’t take the ring back. I trust that you will return to me after learning the truth.”
Mangal leaves, feeling emotional. Kapil and Mangal’s photo falls and breaks. Kapil wonders why this happened. While picking up the photo carefully, he hurts his hand. He hugs their photo. Pratima sees this and feels bad.
Meanwhile, Adit returns home. Ishana is on a video call with Yash, thanking him for saving her. She tells him that she will never forget his help. Yash agrees.
Mangal comes home. Adit asks Mangal why she has come back. He asks if she has returned to collect her belongings. Adit tells Mangal to take her luggage and leave the house. Mangal asks Adit when she said she wanted to leave the house. Adit replies that he is telling her to leave.
Kusum arrives and asks Adit what happened. Adit insults Mangal, telling Kusum that he saw Mangal running into Kapil’s arms. Mangal shouts at Adit.

Precap – Ishana looks at the video. Ishana asks Yash if he has recorded her video. Yash asks Ishana to give him Rs 50,000 if not he will show this video to her parents.
