The episode starts with Mangal saying to Karthik’s parents that she made a Mannat that she will do Lakshmi’s wedding in Kul Devi temple. Gayatri says Karthik is a big singer and says a lot of people’s attention will be on Karthik. Adit rebukes Mangal. Mangal says to Gayatri that she made this Mannat long before Karthik’s match came for Lakshmi. Gayatri’s husband and Kusum say it’s good to do marriage in a temple. Kusum asks Gayatri to arrange a grand reception to fulfill her Karthik’s wedding dream. Gayatri agrees. Sanjana insults Adit and Mangal’s financial status. Adit gets infuriated and says he can do Lakshmi’s marriage and Mangal’s mannat is not their plan. Gayatri’s husband stands by Adit and apologises to Adit from Sanjana side. Adit leaves from there.
Karthik meets Lakshmi and asks how she acts normal as they get engaged. Lakshmi says it’s Gayatri’s wish so we can’t deny it. Karthik tells her that they need to talk to Gayatri before things slips from their hands. Lakshmi feels confused and about to question Karthik but Kusum intervenes. She teases Karthik and Lakshmi and takes Lakshmi with her. Karthik feels distressed.
At home, Adit scolds Mangal for getting him insulted. He asks Mangal to do Lakshmi’s marriage and he refuses to be part of Lakshmi’s wedding. Mangal cries helplessly. Kusum and her husband feel bad for Mangal.
Gayatri’s husband tells Gayatri that they can do all the rituals of Karthik and Lakshmi at one place. Gayatri says it’s her wish too. Gayatri’s husband says he will print the cards for the wedding. Karthik comes there and asks them to cancel the wedding. Karthik’s father rebukes him. He tells Karthik that they can’t cancel the wedding.
Lipika returns Lakshmi’s dress to her. She breaks Lakshmi’s phone and leaves. The next day, Karthik calls Lakshmi but the call doesn’t get connected. Sanjana comes to Karthik and asks him if Lakshmi is double crossing him. Karthik says Lakshmi can’t do it. He asks her to stop doubting Lakshmi.
Gayatri’s husband shows wedding cards to Gayatri and tells her that they can place them in Maata ki Chowki. Gayatri receives a call which worries her. She lies to her husband that it’s a call from the media and goes aside to attend the call.
Mangal asks Adit which shirt he will wear for Maata Ki Chowki. Adit tells Mangal that he is out of Lakshmi’s wedding. He refuses to attend the rituals. Mangal requests him to attend Lakshmi and Karthik’s wedding rituals. Adit rebukes her and leaves from there. Mangal receives a call from the Bank Manager that they can’t give her a loan without gold. Mangal in distress thinks how can she do Lakshmi’s wedding.
