The episode starts with Adit welcoming Mangal into the house with a flower in hand. Akshat and Ishana ask Mangal to take the rose, saying they have another surprise for her. Mangal asks Adit what all of this is about. Adit explains that since she does so much for them, they wanted to give her a surprise. Akshat tells Mangal that they didn’t do anything themselves, and it was all Adit’s plan. Adit mentions that he ordered her favorite food from outside.
Adit asks Mangal to sit down and says he will bring tea for her. Mangal offers to make it herself, but Kusum insists that Adit take care of her. Adit leaves. Mangal recalls Sowmya’s words and thinks she can’t reveal the truth to Kusum, knowing it would hurt her to learn about Adit’s lie. Kusum observes Mangal and feels unable to tell her how Adit betrayed her.
Lakshmi ties a sacred thread on Karthik’s wrist. Karthik asks Lakshmi what she’s doing. Lakshmi explains that after seeing Mangal’s fear following Adit’s accident, she was reminded of her parents’ death. She says she doesn’t want to lose anyone else and shares her feelings. Karthik asks Lakshmi if she’s ever been to Goa. When she says no, Karthik asks his staff to book two flight tickets to Goa.
Mangal approaches Adit. He tells her that he took a day off and is working from home. Mangal confronts Adit, asking why he’s doing all of this. Adit feigns confusion. Mangal tells him she knows he didn’t get on the flight because he went to attend Sowmya’s birthday. She reveals that Sowmya told her everything. Adit explains that he had planned to go to Mumbai, but his colleagues pressured him to stay. He feared Kusum would question him, which is why he didn’t tell anyone. Adit apologizes to Mangal for lying. Mangal warns Adit never to do anything that could destroy the trust between them. After she leaves, Sowmya calls Adit. Furious that Sowmya told Mangal about him, Adit angrily throws his phone.
Gayatri and Sanjana learn that Karthik and Lakshmi are flying to Goa. Gayatri disapproves and tells Karthik she’s really scared after what happened with Adit. She says it was fortunate he didn’t get on the flight, or he might have died. Gayatri adds that she has called the pandit for the next day and will only make decisions after consulting him. She leaves. Lakshmi tells Karthik that they shouldn’t go to Goa because Gayatri is really scared. Lakshmi then gets a call from Kusum.
Karthik, Lakshmi, Shanti, and Lipika arrive at Mangal’s house. Kusum makes an important announcement about Mangal and Adit. She places a chunri over Mangal and asks her if she will marry Adit. Kusum reminds everyone that they had planned Adit and Mangal’s wedding before but couldn’t proceed due to various reasons. Now, she says, they can finally have the wedding. Everyone agrees that it’s a great idea. Mangal tries to avoid the conversation, but Kusum reassures her not to worry about the expenses.
Lakshmi asks Mangal why she doesn’t seem happy after hearing such good news. Mangal remains silent.
