The episode starts with Mangal and Lakshmi stopping their dance after spotting Karthik recording their dance. On the other hand, Kusum asks Jia to prepare Paratha and Tea for her. Jia asks the servant to prepare it. Kusum says she wants to taste her handmade Paratha. Jia and her mother say they never entered the kitchen. Kusum asks what the purpose when Jia can’t even know about Karthik’s favourite food. Jia’s mother says Jia is an entrepreneur so she doesn’t need to enter the kitchen. Kusum says they need a daughter in law, not a dancer.
Mangal asks Karthik to delete their dance recording. Karthik denies and says he will use it whenever he wants to blackmail them. Mangal asks why he came suddenly. Karthik says he came to share good news with them. Mangal says she is happy and asks what’s that news. He tells her that he needs tea.
Kusum says to Jia and her mother that Jia must change her ways like her daughter in law to become Gayatri’s daughter in law. She advises Jia to not marry Karthik if she can’t adjust accordingly to their house custom. Jia rebukes Kusum saying she is not becoming her daughter in law. She asks Kusum to not attend her marriage if she doesn’t like her. Kusum warns her to stay in limits. They get into a heated argument. Jia asks Kusum to leave from her house.
Lakshmi gives tea to Karthik. She sees he is watching their video. She requests him to delete the video. He teases her. She falls on him while taking the mobile. Both feel awkward.
Kusum says to Jia that she saw her real face. She says she likes to repay what she gets. She splashes water on Jia’s face and leaves. Jia’s mother tells Jia that they need to make Gayatri’s family suffer for Kusum’s behaviour.
On the way, Kusum calls Gayatri and informs her that she went to Jia’s house and assures Gayatri that Jia’s family will call off the marriage. Jia and her mother come there. Gayatri sees them and informs Kusum about their arrival and disconnects the call.
Lakshmi gets up from Karthik seeing Mangal. They act normal. Mangal asks Karthik to share the good news. Karthik receives Gayatri’s call and leaves from there in a hurry.
Shanti and Lipika feel troubled to do the house’s work in the absence of Lakshmi. Mangal feels happy seeing her kids progress reports. Gayatri comes there in a hurry and goes to Kusum’s room in a rush. Mangal and Lakshmi feel confused.
Gayatri confronts Kusum why she went to Jia’s house. Kusum says she went to scare them. Gayatri says Karthik is trapped as Jia’s mother preponed the engagement and they did drama in front of Karthik and today’s evening is Karthik’s engagement. Mangal and Lakshmi see Kusum and Gayatri are talking inside locking the room. Kusum says she didn’t expect it. She tells Gayatri that whatever she does is for Karthik’s happiness. She says she doesn’t sit idle like her. They blame each other. Kusum says to Gayatri that she will stay away from them and asks Gayatri to forgive her if possible. Gayatri asks Kusum to stay away from them and Leaves from there. Kusum cries badly. Mangal feels something is fishy.

Precap – Karthik asks Gayatri if she called Kusum and her family. Gayatri covers the situation. Mangal comes to Karthik’s house and tries to enter inside but Guards stop her saying her name is not present on the list. Gayatri sees Mangal and thinks she needs to stop Mangal from knowing about Karthik and Jia’s engagement.
