The episode starts with Shanti coming to Adit’s house and learning that Mangal is not at home. She scolds Adit and his family. Kusum and Adit ask her not to speak against them. Shanti says, “You people have turned Ishana against Mangal to stop her wedding.” She blames Kusum for everything.
Kapil refuses to drink coffee. He notices that Mangal has returned the engagement ring. He misses Mangal’s coffee. Pratima comes there and asks him to stop thinking about Mangal. Shanti says, “Sowmya is useless, and you people are making my daughter Mangal do all the work.” Sowmya asks her to stop blaming them and instead question her own daughter about why she called off her wedding. She says Mangal called off the wedding herself and that they didn’t ask her to do it.
Pratima asks Kapil to agree and tells him that she will talk to Mangal and convince her. Kapil stops Pratima and says, “Mangal will come when she learns the truth. We can’t force anyone in love. Time will tell what is in Mangal’s heart. I don’t want to force her. I want Mangal to realise that I am ready to accept her kids.” He says, “I trust Mangal, and she will handle Ishana.”
Shanti breaks down in front of Maata Rani. She prays to Maata Rani to settle her daughter Mangal’s life. She cries. Kusum consoles Shanti. Shanti asks Adit not to think wedding be called off. She says, “I will definitely make Kapil and Mangal’s wedding happen.” She asks them to get ready to receive the invitation. She tells Adit, “You will regret it so much for losing Mangal and choosing Sowmya.” She leaves.
Later, Adit and Sowmya argue. Sowmya scolds Adit for not taking a stand for her in front of Shanti. Kapil misses Mangal at the office. He is about to leave but stops when he sees Mangal entering the office.
