The episode starts with Kapil thinking about Mangal’s decision. Pratima comes to him and asks why he is sitting in a dark room without eating. Kapil says he doesn’t know why Mangal is supporting the wrong person—Adit. Pratima tells him that he cares for Mangal and questions why he can’t accept his feelings. She says he keeps insisting they’re just colleagues, but he’s lying to himself because he doesn’t want to lose her. Kapil replies that they are colleagues, and he doesn’t want to lose her as an employee. He adds that he simply feels Adit is not a good person. Pratima then advises him to remove Adit from his life too if he truly believes Adit is wrong.
Later, Mangal meets Kapil and asks if he had placed any conditions on Adit before offering him the job. Kapil asks why she is bringing it up now. Mangal responds, “So Adit was telling the truth about the condition.” She accuses him of doing wrong by mixing personal and professional matters. Kapil defends himself, saying, “Whatever I did was for Akshat. I saw him happy with you, so I wanted to give him that happiness forever.” Mangal thanks him for supporting Pehla Swad but says the condition he imposed on Adit was unfair and wrong.
Meanwhile, Adit tells Sowmya that he’s been accused in front of the entire office and now needs to fight a legal battle. Sowmya says she can’t afford the lawyer’s fees. Adit insists he must take a stand and bring out the truth; otherwise, he’ll be blacklisted from other companies. Sowmya adds, “Thank God Ananya didn’t file a complaint. Otherwise, we’d be in even more trouble.” Adit then asks how she knows that.
Kapil warns Mangal not to jeopardize her company for Adit’s sake. He comments that Adit is undeserving. Mangal reminds him that he’s talking about the father of her children. Kapil responds, “You’re the role model for your kids, not Adit. File a complaint against him—I’ll hire the best lawyer, and you’ll get custody of the children too.” Mangal says Adit did wrong to her in the past, but she knows him well. Since Adit and Ananya are telling different stories, they must first find out who is telling the truth. Kapil agrees and says, “Fine. But you have to prove Adit’s innocence before tomorrow evening.”
Sowmya diverts Adit but then rebukes him, saying that if he cheated once, he could cheat again. Just then, Adit receives a phone call from the office, asking him to collect his original Aadhaar card and other documents.
Mangal visits Ananya’s house to speak with her. Meanwhile, Sowmya, who had come earlier to persuade Ananya not to hire a lawyer, hides behind the sofa. Earlier, she had told Ananya that Adit was planning to fight the case legally, but Ananya had warned her not to even think about it. When the doorbell rings and they see Mangal outside, Sowmya hides, and Ananya opens the door.
Mangal tells Ananya that she knows what happened to her was wrong. Ananya says she won’t rest until Adit is fired. Mangal assures her that the innocent will definitely get justice. She asks Ananya if anyone is pressuring her because Adit claims he wasn’t in the office that night. Ananya says, “You may choose to forgive Adit, but I won’t. If you support me, we can file a complaint and send him to jail.” Mangal replies, “Until now, I thought there was some misunderstanding. But now I see your intentions clearly. Don’t worry—I will uncover the truth.”
Just then, Sowmya’s phone rings. Mangal hears it and asks who’s hiding behind the sofa. Sowmya quickly leaves. When Mangal checks behind the sofa, no one is there. Ananya sends her away. Mangal starts thinking about how to find out the truth. Meanwhile, Sowmya warns Ananya to be careful of Mangal.
Mangal then calls Kusum and tells her she has a plan to save Adit. She asks if Kusum will support her in proving Adit’s innocence.
