The episode starts with Ishana handing the pooja items to the pandit. Sowmya wonders how Adit and Mangal agreed to remarry so easily and feels they are being emotional because of Akshat. She decides to find out the truth. While talking on a call, Adit places Akshat’s medical reports on the table and sits for the pooja. Sowmya secretly steals the hospital file to learn about Akshat’s condition, but Mangal stops her in time and warns her to stay away from her family. Kusum arrives and asks Mangal to sit for the pooja. Kusum leaves, and Adit comes to Mangal. When Sowmya insists on sitting in the pooja, Mangal tells her that it is meant only for her family and asks her to stay away. Sowmya tells Adit that she is carrying his child and has the right to sit in the pooja. Adit replies that once the baby is born, the child can participate in all poojas, but until then, Sowmya should stay in her room. He then sits for the pooja.
Mangal forcefully takes Sowmya to the guest room and warns her to stay inside if she cares about her baby, or she will be thrown out of the house if she crosses the room. During the pooja, Mangal prays to Mata Rani for Akshat’s successful surgery and recovery. Meanwhile, Sowmya notices Mangal’s phone and comes out of the room, ignoring the warning. While everyone is busy with the pooja, she secretly takes Mangal’s phone to her room.
Neel and Ishana fly kites as Akshat jumps with joy. Mangal asks Akshat to rest, fearing the sharp manja might hurt him. Neel and Adit assure her that they will take care of Akshat and say their team will win. Adit tells Mangal that they need to keep Akshat happy and cannot stop him from enjoying everything. Akshat tells Mangal that his father has given permission, so she should too. Mangal agrees. Adit and Akshat form a team, cut other kites, and celebrate. Mangal goes to get more kites.
Sowmya unlocks Mangal’s phone and sees multiple calls made to Dr. Kashyap. Pretending to be Mangal, she calls the doctor and learns that Akshat has a hole in his heart and may suffer another stroke if medicines are not given on time. She disconnects the call and turns around to see Mangal standing there. Relieved that Mangal did not notice the phone, Sowmya hides it.
Akshat writes his wish on a pink kite, praying to God to reunite his parents. Neel asks if he is going to fly the wish kite. Neel says blue is his favourite colour and that he is preparing a kite for his father. After Neel leaves, Sowmya secretly writes something on the blue kite and hides it. Akshat gifts the wish kite to Adit and takes the blue kite. Sowmya writes a cruel message on the kite, saying that Akshat has a hole in his heart and will die soon. Before Akshat can read it, Mangal spills juice on the kite. She apologises to Akshat and gives him another blue kite. Akshat thanks her and leaves. Sowmya feels frustrated as her plan fails.
Mangal confronts Sowmya with the kite and raises her hand in anger but stops herself. She punches the wall instead, damaging it. Sowmya is shocked. Mangal accuses Sowmya of trying to harm her son by revealing his condition and says she knows Sowmya spoke to the doctor. Sowmya tries to act innocent, but Mangal warns her not to push her limits. Adit arrives and questions Sowmya for trying to scare Akshat. He says Mangal stopped herself, but he cannot, and is about to slap Sowmya when Mangal intervenes, reminding him that Sowmya is pregnant. Adit warns Sowmya that he remembers every sin she has committed and will not spare her once the baby is born. Mangal also warns Sowmya to stop eyeing her family, or she will see her fierce side.
