The episode starts with Bua Dadi asking Mangal to stop creating a scene as if it’s her own child. Mangal says, no matter whose child it is, it’s wrong to make kids work. She takes Akshat from there. Bijli tells Dadi that Mangal taunted her and asks what people will think of her now. Mangal sees injuries on Akshat’s hands and cries. She asks Akshat to forgive her, saying she didn’t give him attention and that’s why it all happened. Akshat says it’s not her fault and asks her not to blame herself. Mangal tells him never to do such cleaning work again, even if someone orders him to. Lipika comes there and tells Mangal that she is being called. Mangal says she will come.
Pratima asks Bua Dadi to calm down. Dadi says Mangal didn’t respect her and asks Pratima if this is the manners of her daughter-in-law. Pratima replies that she already told her Mangal loves kids, which is why she reacted that way. Dadi asks Pratima if she has forgotten her sanskar and says if her husband were alive, he would never let anyone insult her. She blames Pratima for choosing the wrong partner for her grandson. Bua Dadi asks Shanti if these are the values she gave her daughter and says now she understands why Mangal is still unmarried, and if anyone had married her, he would have left her. Shanti says she and her daughter are giving respect, so Dadi shouldn’t lose it, and reminds her that it was Pratima who proposed Kapil and Mangal’s marriage. Pratima says the pandal has started and asks everyone to leave these issues aside.
At the pandal, Mangal serves food to everyone. Adit comes to the temple searching for Akshat. Akshat tells Mangal that her phone fell in water, so he used her trick and placed it in rice, and now it’s working. Mangal says good. Akshat asks her to eat with him. Mangal feeds Akshat. Bua Dadi tells Bijli that she doesn’t like Mangal’s closeness with a servant’s son. Bijli further instigates her. Adit decides to call Mangal outside to talk about Akshat. He calls her and asks her to come out of the temple for an important matter. Mangal agrees and leaves. Bua Dadi grows suspicious and spies on her but gets distracted for a while. This time, Mangal manages to leave.
Shanti sees the injuries on Akshat’s hands. She tells Pratima that what happened today is wrong. She sends Akshat with Lipika. Shanti asks Pratima to tell Bua Dadi the truth that Mangal is a divorcee with two kids. Pratima says they need to hide it until the marriage is completed. Shanti comments on it.
Mangal meets Adit and asks what happened. Adit says he saw Akshat crying while cleaning vessels and wonders why such a thing happened when she was around. He says he cannot see Akshat in this kind of pain. Dadi spots Mangal and Adit together. She recalls seeing Mangal yesterday at the market too. Mangal tries to talk but slips, and Adit holds her. Dadi sees it in shock and grows suspicious. She says she is glad to have caught Mangal red-handed, otherwise Kapil would never know what his bride is doing behind his back. She decides to inform Pratima. Mangal tells Adit that Akshat is fine and eating prasad.
At home, Dadi thinks about Mangal and Adit. Kapil comes home, and Dadi calls him, saying she wants to talk to him. Kapil asks what the matter is. Dadi tells him Mangal’s behavior is not good and asks him to refuse the marriage. Kapil says she has just met Mangal and shouldn’t judge her based on first impressions. He says Mangal is a good person. Before Dadi can say more, Kapil receives a call. He asks her to trust him and attends the call. He sees Pratima roaming in the hall and asks why no one has slept and if anything happened at the pandal. Meanwhile, someone ties a cloth over Mangal’s eyes.
