The episode begins with Kusum asking Pratima if the girl who will break the Dahi Handi has arrived and when the program will start. Pratima replies that Mangal is taking care of everything. Just then, they hear the sound of drums and come outside to see Mangal happily playing the dhol with her team. Everyone is surprised and delighted to see Mangal preparing to break the Dahi Handi. Kapil proudly says that Mangal can do anything. Kusum, Pratima, and Shanti feel happy, while Monisha smirks, thinking this is exactly what she wanted. She secretly breaks a glass, puts the pieces inside the matki, and injures her hand in the process.
Mangal worries that the handi is too high, but Kapil encourages her, saying she can do it. Monisha hands the matki to Adit, pretending she has low BP and can’t carry it. Adit, unaware of her plan, passes it to the Pehla Swad workers. The workers form a human pyramid, and Mangal prays for strength before climbing up. She manages to reach the top and break the handi. Suddenly, dahi water and something fall on her face, causing her to lose balance and fall. Blood oozes from her hand. Adit and Kapil rush to her, anxiously checking if she is alright. Monisha feels victorious, thinking her plan succeeded.
To everyone’s relief, Mangal is safe, though her hand is injured. She explains she slipped because of flower petals inside the handi. Monisha is shocked, wondering how the glass pieces disappeared. Kapil blames himself, saying he had added petals after the original handi broke. Monisha fumes at Adit for being careless. Pratima suggests calling a doctor, but Mangal insists she is fine and agrees to get ready for the pooja.
Kapil asks the pandit to begin the rituals on time. Monisha slyly remarks that it’s good Mangal’s face isn’t injured. Kapil firmly replies that he values Mangal’s inner beauty more than her outer beauty, and nothing can change his feelings for her. Monisha burns with jealousy as she sees Kapil’s concern for Mangal.
During the pooja preparations, Mangal notices Shanti has hurt her foot with glass pieces. Concerned, she wonders who spread them around. A Pehla Swad lady suggests they may have come from the first matki. Mangal spots blood nearby and suspects someone else was injured too. Later, Akshat shows her photos from the event, where she notices someone tampering with the matki but is unable to see the person’s face clearly. She understands someone intentionally did it to harm her.
