The episode starts with Mangal doing the Karwa Chauth Ritual thinking about Adit but when she turns around and sees through the Chalni, she sees Adit taking Phere with Sowmya and gets shocked. Mangal drops the Chalni and leaves from there. Adit tries to go after Mangal but Sowmya stops Adit and reminds Adit that he is taking Phere with Sowmya. Adit says to Sowmya that if Mangal tells his mom about what happened here then a big trouble will happen in the house and says Kusum will throw him out of the house. Sowmya says to Adit that she doesn’t care if Kusum accepts their relationship or not. Adit says to Sowmya that she might break off her relationship with her parents for her selfishness but he is not that selfish and says he loves his family. Adit takes off the Gathbandhan and throws it into the fire and leaves from there.
Mangal is shown to be running on road. Mangal falls on the road. Karthik asks Lakshmi so Adit wants to divorce Mangal and she knows about this and this is what she wanted to tell Mangal from the beginning. Lakshmi says yes. Karthik calls Kusum.
Kusum asks Karthik over the phone if Mangal isn’t with them then where is Mangal. Mangal comes home in a mess. The ladies gossip about Mangal. Kusum sees Mangal in a mess and asks Mangal what happened. Mangal doesn’t say anything to Kusum and just goes inside. Kusum worries about Mangal thinking she might have seen the divorce papers. The ladies gossip about Mangal.
Mangal looks at Adit and her photo and recalls what happened till now. Mangal says to herself that she is a fool that she couldn’t see what was happening right infront of her eyes. Mangal laughs at herself and scolds herself. Kusum comes to Mangal and asks Mangal what happened. Mangal tries to tell Kusum about what Adit did but before that Kusum asks Mangal if she saw the divorce papers. Sudesh asks Kusum what is she talking about. Kusum says she found divorce papers on the table today. Kusum asks Mangal not to worry about the divorce papers and says they are fake. Kusum says Adit promised her that he will fulfill his marriage with her wholeheartedly and reminds Mangal how much he has changed. Mangal says to Kusum that Adit has took Phere and gotten married. Kusum thinks Mangal is talking about Adit and Mangal’s marriage. Kusum says yes and comments on it. Sudesh says to Kusum that she has gone blind in her son’s love. Sudesh calls Adit. Adit comes home.
The pandit says to Sowmya that now that Adit has left from here how will she do the marriage. Sowmya pours water in the fire and asks the Pandit how will she do the wedding without groom and comments on it. Sowmya says to Adit that if he thinks he can leave her and go back to his family then he is mistaken and says she will not leave him.
Kusum asks Adit where has he gone. Adit says he has gone to the temple. Kusum asks Adit why has he gone to the temple as he said that he is going to Gurudwara. Kusum asks Adit to tell Mangal that he hasn’t prepared the divorce papers and those papers were made by someone else. Mangal asks Kusum to take off the blindfold from her eyes and says to Adit that anybody might have made the divorce papers but the signature on it belongs to Adit and asks Adit if he is right. Mangal says to Kusum that today she will ask Adit some questions.
