The episode starts with Karthik asking Gayatri why she didn’t stop Kusum from insulting Jia. Gayatri says she didn’t know about it and if she knows about it then she may definitely tried to stop her. She tells him how this incident created disturbance in her and Kusum’s relationship. Mangal and Lakshmi decide to go to the temple to pray to Ram ji to sort out the differences between Kusum and Gayatri. Karthik says to Gayatri that he doesn’t understand why Kusum created this mess. He decides to meet Kusum the next day.
The next day, Adit asks Akshat about Mangal. Akshat says Mangal and Lakshmi went to Ram temple. Adit tries to talk to Kusum about Karthik but Kusum doesn’t allow him to talk and leaves from there. Kusum’s husband asks Adit to give some time to Kusum. He asks him to drop him at the bank. Adit agrees.
Mangal and Lakshmi pray to Ram ji to sort out the difference between Kusum and Gayatri. Kusum hears the calling bell sound. She opens the door and sees Gayatri and Karthik. She sends Akshat to his friend’s house. Kusum asks Gayatri if they are happy with the engagement. Karthik says her wish is completed and his engagement didn’t happen. Kusum gets shocked.
Akshat calls Mangal and informs her that Gayatri and Karthik came to their house. Gayatri feels happy knowing it. Karthik questions Kusum why she insulted Jia. Kusum asks him if Jia didn’t tell him how Jia insulted her. Karthik says to Kusum that he will make Jia apologise to her. He asks her to make Jia agree to the marriage. Kusum refuses and tells Karthik that Jia is not suitable for him. Karthik declares to Kusum that he will only marry his love. He requests her to talk to Jia. Kusum refuses and asks Gayatri to stop Karthik from committing mistake. Karthik insists Kusum to come with him to talk to Jia. Adit comes there and stops Karthik from forcing his mother.
Lipika and Shanti apologise to Lakshmi for their mistake. They request her to come home. Mangal says Lakshmi will not come with them. Adit asks Karthik to not blame his mother. He stands by Kusum and says Jia is not correct for him. He questions why Jia didn’t trust him. Gayatri asks Karthik to understand how Jia humiliated them. Karthik asks why can’t they understand him. He leaves from there. Adit says to Gayatri that Karthik escaped a great danger. Gayatri agrees. Adit thinks he doesn’t want Karthik to get married to Jia.
