The episode begins with Mangal placing her hand in a water tub that Ishana prepared for her, unaware that Sowmya had switched the water. Mangal’s hand gets burned. Kusum quickly applies ice to Mangal’s hand. Ishana insists that she checked the water beforehand and claims she has no idea how this happened. Sowmya, however, makes insulting remarks about Mangal, prompting Kusum to rebuke her. Meanwhile, Mangal notices Sowmya’s earring in the water. Instead of confronting her in front of Kusum, Mangal leaves without saying anything. Kusum offers to help Mangal, but Mangal politely declines, saying she can manage on her own.
Elsewhere, Jia warns Gayatri over the phone not to interfere with her plans, claiming that her actions will help her win Karthik.
The next morning, Sowmya returns from her morning walk and notices a glass of green juice. Assuming Adit prepared it for her, she drinks it. Mangal then appears and shows Sowmya her earring. She informs Sowmya that the juice she just drank contained pineapple, to which she is allergic. Mangal confronts her about switching the water with boiling water, accusing her of causing the accident. Panicked, Sowmya searches for her anti-allergy medicine. She denies causing Mangal’s injury, but Mangal refuses to give her the medicine unless she tells the truth. Under pressure, Sowmya admits to switching the water to hot water but accuses Mangal of trying to harm her in return.
Mangal reveals she didn’t actually add pineapple to the juice and accuses Sowmya of being careless. Realizing she was tricked, Sowmya feels humiliated. Mangal firmly warns Sowmya to stay away from her and her family. She makes it clear that she has no interest in Sowmya or Adit and advises her to maintain her distance.
Gayatri says to Karthik that they need to celebrate his comeback with his album. Gayatri asks Karthik if he called everyone. Karthik says to Gayatri that he called everyone besides one person. Lakshmi comes and asks Karthik and Gayatri who are they not inviting for the party. Gayatri says to Lakshmi that there is someone who is always irritating and comments on it. Gayatri says to Karthik that she is thinking of hiring a chef from a five star restaurant for their party. Lakshmi says to Gayatri that they can give the catering service to Mangal. Gayatri doesn’t agree. Karthik says to Gayatri that he already told Mangal to do the food for them. Gayatri says to Karthik that he should have told her before doing this and says the dessert will be of her choice. Gayatri leaves from there.
Lakshmi asks Karthik if he really told Mangal. Karthik says to Mangal that he will tell her now. Lakshmi asks Karthik what about Gayatri. Karthik asks what about it. Karthik says to Lakshmi that after hearing about Mangal’s catering business he decided to give this order to her and says she was also thinking about the same thing so that it will be helpful to Mangal right. Lakshmi says yes.
Mangal is shown to be having trouble doing work with a burn hand and she applies Lep just like Kusum told her and does the work. Mangal asks Akshat to come and take his sandwich. Mangal gets a call from Karthik and Karthik asks Mangal to take their order. Mangal agrees.
Sowmya comes to Adit and sees Adit eating bread and argues with Adit accusing him of eating the food made by Mangal. Adit says he made this bread and says this is not a sandwich. Adit clarifies to Sowmya that he would rather starve than eat the food made by Mangal. Mangal overhears this.
Mangal prepares lunch boxes with the help of Kusum and sends it to all the customers.
Adit sees there is no food in all of the boxes and asks Sowmya about it. Sowmya says to Adit that Kusum is always keeping an eye on her so she sent empty tiffin boxes so that Kusum will not comment on her. Sowmya asks Adit not to worry and says she ordered food from a home chef. Adit eats Mangal’s food without his knowledge and praises it.
