The episode starts with Karthik telling Mangal that Adit might be upset with his words. Adit arrives and says Mangal will not eat samosas and tea because Mangal hasn’t eaten anything since morning. Adit mentions that Mangal might get acidity and suggests Mangal first drink lemon water and eat something sweet. Kusum asks Shanti if she noticed how much Adit takes care of Mangal.
Sowmya tampers with Akshat and Ishana’s gift for Adit and Mangal. She replaces Adit and Mangal’s photos with hers and Adit’s.
Akshat and Ishana tell Mangal and Adit that they have a surprise for them. They bring Adit and Mangal into their room and ask Adit to remove the cloth covering the gift. When Adit removes the cloth, everyone sees the photos of Adit and Mangal. Everyone praises Akshat and Ishana’s gift.
In a flashback, Lipika sees Sowmya coming out of Adit and Mangal’s room. Lipika goes into the room and notices that Sowmya has tampered with Ishana and Akshat’s gift. Lipika restores Adit and Mangal’s photos on the gift.
Later, Sowmya comes back and sees the photos of Adit and Mangal. She wonders who might have changed the photos. Lipika then takes Sowmya to a room.
Lipika asks Sowmya what she is trying to do and why she is trying to ruin Mangal’s life. Sowmya responds with a comment about Lipika. Lipika tells Sowmya that Adit has chosen Mangal and that it would be better for Sowmya to leave Adit; otherwise, she will always be a secondary figure in Adit’s life. Sowmya locks Lipika in the room and leaves.
Sowmya later goes to the washroom and knocks on the door, thinking Mangal is inside. Kusum emerges from the washroom and asks Sowmya what she is doing there. Kusum then takes Sowmya to a room.
Kusum scolds Sowmya, calling her shameless, and slaps her. Kusum demands to know why Sowmya came there. Sowmya dreams of revealing the truth about her affair with Adit to his entire family. In the dream, Adit denies the affair and throws Sowmya out of the house, severing ties with her.
Sowmya wakes up from the dream, realizing that trying to reveal the truth to Mangal would be a mistake. Kusum asks Sowmya why she came there.
Adit sees Lipika in his room and asks her what she is doing there. Lipika explains that Sowmya locked her in the room and that if she hadn’t intervened, Adit’s secret would have been exposed. She shows Adit the photos of him and Sowmya, explaining that they could have been exposed due to Sowmya. Lipika says Sowmya might have told many people about their affair. Lipika insists that she needs to talk to Mangal. Adit asks her not to do so, saying he is trying to mend his mistakes. Lipika says she doesn’t trust him. Mangal arrives and asks Lipika what she is talking about. Lipika tells Mangal that Adit is a liar who always tells lies. Mangal asks Lipika for clarification.
