The episode begins with Adit telling Mangal that she cannot understand his pain because it is his parents who are suffering, not hers. Mangal breaks down in tears. Meanwhile, Sowmya recalls how she manipulated the evidence after seeing messages on Mangal’s phone from Prakash, an electronics dealer, while Mangal was busy cooking.
Mangal confronts Adit, asking how he can say that his parents are not hers. Adit turns away. Sowmya comments that Adit does not even like talking to Mangal. Mangal responds that Adit is refusing to see the truth. Frustrated, Adit leaves, and Sowmya follows him.
Mangal prays to Maata Rani, expressing her pain over Adit’s words—that she is not part of his family and that his parents are not hers. She weeps, struggling to comprehend his statement. Meanwhile, Sowmya pretends to be concerned in front of Adit. Falling for her act, Adit hugs her. Sowmya takes advantage of his vulnerable state.
While cleaning the room, Mangal accidentally knocks over their wedding photo, causing the frame to break. Meanwhile, Adit apologizes to Sowmya for Mangal’s behavior, acknowledging that she is enduring a lot because of him. Sowmya assures him that he does not need to apologize, claiming she can do anything for him. She then asks him to sign the divorce papers for his own well-being. When he hesitates, she insists, saying that if he had signed earlier, these problems would not have escalated. She urges him to at least sign them now. Mangal feels heartbroken as she looks at the shattered frame of their wedding photo.
Sowmya continues manipulating Adit, saying that neither Kusum nor their children will ever forgive Mangal. She questions whether Adit himself could forgive his father’s murderer. She urges him to sign the divorce papers to protect his family. Giving in, Adit signs. At the same time, Mangal injures herself while picking up the broken glass pieces. Sowmya, pleased with her scheme, declares that Mangal will soon sign the papers, officially ending her remaining ties with Adit.
Later, Sowmya places a garland on Sudesh’s photo. Shocked, Mangal asks her what she is doing. Sowmya claims that she has organized a Shanti Pooja for Sudesh’s soul. Mangal objects, saying it is not the right time for such a ritual. Sowmya dismisses her concerns, prompting Mangal to warn that this will traumatize Kusum. Sowmya blames Mangal for Kusum’s distress and prevents her from removing the garland, stating that the Shanti Paath was arranged with Adit’s approval. Mangal insists she will speak to Adit. However, Sowmya taunts her, saying that she has lost the right to question him or interfere in family matters.
Sowmya then hands Mangal the divorce papers, already signed by Adit, and coldly tells her to leave his life. She warns Mangal to stop calling herself “Mangal Saxena” and declares that she can no longer stay in the house now that Adit has divorced her. Stunned, Mangal stares at Adit’s signature in disbelief. Sowmya smirks and adds that Adit does not even want to see her face, so she should sign the papers as soon as possible. With that, she walks away. Mangal recalls her moments in the house and how Adit betrayed her.
The episode begins with Jia setting Lakshmi’s saree pallu on fire by placing it near the burning stove before leaving. Lakshmi panics upon seeing the flames and screams for help. Karthik rushes in and quickly douses the fire by pouring water over her saree. He scolds her for being careless and immediately places her burned hand under running water. As he goes to get ice cubes, Lakshmi grows anxious upon noticing that the color of her hand has faded. When Karthik returns and tries to apply ice to her burn, she hesitates, but he firmly holds her hand and applies it anyway.
Just then, Jia arrives and taunts Karthik, questioning whether he is taking his marriage seriously. She mocks Radha, calling her just a maid. Karthik firmly tells Jia to stay away from him. Jia refuses, saying she will not leave until he forgives her. Before leaving, she mocks Radha (Lakshmi) again. Lakshmi, relieved, thinks to herself that she narrowly escaped trouble.
Later, Lakshmi applies black makeup to her face and steps out. Jia collides with her and scolds her for not watching where she’s going. Lakshmi retorts, saying she can see clearly and knows that Jia was the one who set her pallu on fire. Jia smirks and says that was just a “trailer.” Lakshmi responds that she enjoyed the trailer and warns Jia to stay away from her husband, or she will show her the “full movie.” Jia, enraged, pins Lakshmi against the wall, declaring that Karthik belongs to her and she will not lose him to anyone. She reminds Lakshmi that she was already defeated once. Unfazed, Lakshmi twists Jia’s hand and warns her to stop scheming to snatch her husband before walking away.
Meanwhile, Sanjana calls a pandit to perform aarti for the newlywed couple. Gayatri snatches the phone from her and scolds her for arranging rituals for Radha. Sanjana explains that treating Radha well is necessary to keep Jia away from the house. Gayatri reluctantly agrees and asks about Karthik’s whereabouts. Sanjana informs her that he is speaking with a lawyer.
Karthik, on the other hand, demands that his lawyer find a way to free him from this marriage with Radha. The lawyer explains that divorce is not a simple process and will take time. Frustrated, Karthik insists on getting the divorce finalized as soon as possible. The lawyer warns that until the process is complete, Karthik and Radha must stay together. Karthik laments that he doesn’t know how he will manage that. Just then, Lakshmi (disguised as Radha) arrives with coffee. She apologizes for interrupting, places the coffee on the table, and leaves, hoping Karthik will be okay.
Back at home, Gayatri instructs Radha to perform the aarti. The pandit asks the elders to bless the newlywed couple, but Gayatri rebukes Radha. Jia smirks, declaring that Karthik will never accept Radha. Umesh then calls Karthik and Lakshmi to perform the aarti together. Karthik refuses and is about to walk away when he notices a heavy metal object about to fall on Lakshmi. Acting quickly, he saves her just in time. In the process, he instinctively holds her hand, and they end up performing the aarti together. A chunri falls over them, and the pandit calls it a good omen.
Meanwhile, Jia vents her frustration to her mother, claiming that she fell into Radha’s trap. In a fit of rage, she declares that she will kill Radha and begins breaking things. Prema slaps her and tells her to control herself. Jia regrets trusting Radha and starts suspecting that she entered the house with the intention of winning over Karthik. Prema advises Jia to first uncover Radha’s background in order to deal with her effectively. Jia agrees. Jia calls Sevak agency and asks the manager to send her the all the details of Radha whom she hired from them. The manager agrees to send her the details. Lakshmi thanks Maaata Rani for supporting her. She thinks of ousting Jia from Karthik life.
